I used to have exactly the same subwoofer. It has dual voice coils which are driven independently.
Hope the diagrams help out. Just make sure you know how many ohms your amp is.

I need to know what the recommended box spec for a audio Bahn dJones special edition 15 woofer 500 watts is trying to build a box for it

These subs are the (AW1251SE). Go to the Audiobahn website and look up the specs. I have included a hyperlink that will take you to the correct page. Find the model number and download the PDF. Inside the PDF file it will have every parameter listed, I already looked at it and made sure. It also has different enclosure options and gives the specs for each one.

I have 2 audiobahn 12 inch 500 watt awc12t dvc woofers with 2 pos and 2 neg hook ups on each side of the speakers like this (- -) (+ +) and the same on opp side i need to know how to wire them to each...

OK. Sometimes manufacturers put two flat prongs to each of the positives and negatives of the voice coils. This allows for daisy chaining multiple subs to be easier. Here is how you want to wire your subs in the box.

From the positive post of the box to the positive posts of both voice coils (just choose one prong on each of them, you do not have to connect all 4 of them). So you will have 2 wires going from one post on the box to 2 posts on the sub. Got it. Not go from the negative post on the box, to both negative posts on the subs. Repeat this with the other sub. Now you can hook each channel of the amp to the box regularly pos of amp to pos of box and neg of amp to neg of box.

This set up is called parallel and will drop the ohms resistance of two 4 ohm voice coils to a 2 ohm load. You will get 2 ohms for each sub, thus connecting one sub to each channel. This will allow you to get the max power out of the amp or 150w RMS per your post. Hope this helps.

Sub woofers and amp

first of all is the amp a four way amp? if so then you need to know what the watts of the subs are (you dont want to melt them) wire + and - of channels 1 and 2 to one sub and + and - of channel 3 and 4 to second sub, nice thick lead from battery positive (fused) to positive terminal on amp thick lead from a good earth point to negative terminal on amp run a set of rca leads down the opposte side to the positive wire to prevent interference, run thin wire from remote wire of radio to the remote terminal of amp, rca's are plugged in at stereo and at the am. may need a RCA splitter to be able to power all four channels

Good luck Davelee
