Question about Televison & Video
I have basic cable with channels from 2-99. I can not get to the channels between 46 and 93. I have an old LXI series TV that I don't have a manual to. I guess I need to know how to program the TV. The only buttons it has are audio, picture, tv/av, catv, prog, obc, down arrow, up arrow, mono, stereo/L2,add/erase. I've tried many combinations of prog, add/erase, and the arrows to add the other channels. The back of the TV says the model number is 562 plus alot of other numbers.
For anyone with a set with this problem that is older----IT DOES NOT HAVE THAT PART OF THE CABLE BAND BUILT INTO IT--only solution is either to put a cable box to it or buy a new set.

SOURCE: TV will not get cable channels
If you have it hooked up to a digital box, it shouldn't matter if the TV is on cable or antenna mode. The only thing that matters is that the TV is on channel 3. Channels will be changed on digital box. Some newer TV's use input 1 or 2 or AUX for it to work. If I were you i would hook everything up and start playing with the channels going up and down until you get a picture.
