Running a Gateway on XP. Lost power. Returned to office later to reboot and get nothing on the attempt to power up. Light is blinking green vs amber or red though - so not sure if this is a failed power supply or some strange "safe mode" based on the power loss?

Re: Blinking Green power light
Unplug the power cable and press and hold the power button for several seconds to discharge the system. Then allow several minutes before reconnecting the power cable. If the problem still persists, it may be a failed power supply.
