One of the following is your problem:

1. The phone boots to the Windows 'desktop' and reboots...
A. The battery is at fault. Remove the battery for 10 minutes, reconnect and try again.

2. The phone displays the VZW logo and reboots in an endless cycle...
A. The ROM has gotten corrupt. You can take it to a Verizon store and have it replaced under manufacturers defect warranty. (* The store tech will test the phone and check for water damage, before a replacement phone will be offered.)

Whenever I connect my Droid Global 2 into a charger (the charger is Motorola) the screen keeps blinking on and off without powering up. Could this be do to the fact that the charger I am trying to use is...

If you do not have a charger that will supply enough power for the load, you will have the problem you are asking. See if you can locate a car charger with the correct connector - they are usually higher than 550mA. If it still has the same problem, I would remove the battery, clean the connections on the battery with a pencil eraser, put it back in and try it again.

I can help you with your Motorola Moto Q boot screen problem.

What has happened is that the firmware of your phone has become corrupted. When this happens your phone will no longer finish its boot sequence.

This is a very common situation with many phones: in fact, much of what I do here at Fixya is explain how people can fix their MP3 players, GPS and phones by reflashing the firmware.

The good news is that if you take your phone into your carrier's store, they can reflash it for you right there (if they have a competent tech handy.)

If you are comfortable with computers etc, you can also do it yourself. Your computer will communicate with and fix your phone, even though it doesn't seem to recognize it right now - I've seen this many many times.

My only warning for you is that if you are going to flash your phone yourself, you need to get the correct firmware from motorola's site for your carrier. I just downloaded the Verizon firmware today as an example - Motorola's website has about ten different US carrier firmwares for their MotoQ phone. If you are in the US, then the firmware below is the correct version for you.

I hope that helps.

My HTC p3300 battery not gettin charged. It works on direct power for some time and get automatically shutdown after some time..indicating no charge. Keeps shutting down often.

I too have been experiencing problems. Replaced the battery but it happened again. The battery says it is at almost 100% capacity however several times in the day, when I go to turn it on it doesn't respond. I end up taking the battery out and then have to connect it to a charger (USB) so that the charging light blinks red once and then turns off. I can then put in the battery again and it will start up again. If I don't connect it to the charger cable to drain (get the red light to flash once), and try just putting back in the battery, I've noticed that the screen has a faint glow as though it was on but the screen is completely blank. I'm starting to think that there must be a short circuit somewhere because I'm going to assume that the new battery is good.

Removing (unlock) subsidy lock on Sprint Treo 6500

If you are a Verizon customer with a Verizon account and the Palm is a Verizon labeled phone, the support people will be able to assist you with transfering the phone to your account.

Since this is a Sprint labeled and logoed phone, there may be a bit more work to get this locked to your account. You will need to have a Verizon technician assist you by calling their support line and explaining your situation. You will need to verify with them that the phone has a clean ESN and they will ask you for that number to check. They will be able to get you on their network if the ESN is clean and your account is in good standing. There are a number of sites and blogs dedicated to this very issue. Just search for your phone on the internet and you will find them and what to do to have your phone switched over.

As far as changing the splash screen from Sprint to Verizon, that requires software and understanding where the image files are located. This is not a task for the novice. Again, when you look through these sites, you will find the information on how to change these items, how to back up your phones data dump, and how to read the different categories these items are located in. Be careful...you can destroy your phone if you are not careful.

Good luck.

It cant turn on

Just some suggestions. I have had my Q9m since September 07. If you reboot the phone nightly (take battery out put back) and allow to boot up again it help by resetting the RAM. Also under System Tools>Task Manager>Menu>Kill All - it seems that every program you use on the Q it keeps running which causes the Q to slow down and freeze. I know doing these things can be a pain however my Q has been running with zero issues since September. I also have the origional Q in black for over 16 months and I wouldnt trade either phone for anything on the market currently. As far as the screen sticking on the Verizon Logo...try taking battery out, power on and as soon as logo appears pull battery out quick and replace...you may need to do this a few times but it will bypass what ever is causing this boot up error. Windows Mobile 6 certainly isnt perfect. Hope these suggestions help.

Moto Q won't turn on

Hold down the center nav key and power up the unit. This will restore any files that may have been corrupted and put them to original. If you loaded a 3 party app or something prior to this may be the cause of the issue. Don't use that app.
