Make sure that you have transferred songs with SonicStage and not any other software. If you used a software other than SonicStage, format the WALKMAN with the menu itself and transfer songs with SonicStage.Get SonicStage from link below:http://download.cnet.com/Sony-Connect-SonicStage/3000-2141_4-10375164.htmlALI.DEHBAN
first u need to download the programe i give u the link (http://www.brothersoft.com/sonicstage-cp-278209.html) and u install it and the you must put your song in the library and then and put your walkman in the usb and automotic it will apear in the next colone and then you must transfer it on your walkman try it
If you are using the Sony Sonic Stage software, then it might be
a good idea to just format the MP3 player and start over downloading music to it. You have to use the Sony Sonic Stage software or else it gives you the NO DATA BASE error, even if
you have music on it.
i think you're just dragging and dropping mp3's into it instead of using a program to load the music in. this mp3 player doesn't play mp3's, it uses it's own media type and makes a database of all the music in it. download sonicstage or MP3FileManager (http://sourceforge.net/projects/nwe00xmp3man) and start loading music in that way.
Try voidMP3FM from www.drvoid.com I have a NW-E005 but the web site says the program supports the NW-E002 as well. Have used this program from day one and have never loaded sonic stage. Heard lots of complaints about it.
Hope this helps.
