Question about Crosley CDE6000 Electric Dryer
I have a Crosley model CDE22B6VC electric dryer. It will run for about 10 to 15 minutes then shut off. Once the dryer has cooled down it can be restarted but then it will run only for another 10 to 15 minutes. I recently cleaned all the duct work and exhaust from the front of the dryer thought the outside vent and there is plenty of air flow through the exhaust so I know it is not blocked. Could the high limit thermostat or the thermostat control be the problem?
More likely a bad motor ..excessive lint build up in dryer will reduce air flow through motor causing it to overheat problem is by the time the lint problem is found and corrected motor is already gone
