I have a gas heater Rinnai 1004F and few dyas ago the filter light came on. We cleaned the filter but the filter light has benn blinking since them. I already check the exhaust pipe and nothing. I also noticed that the front of the heater is a small door with a pull sign. Inside there is a tray with a water level mark, what is this for? Are we suppost to fill it with water? Need help!
The tray is if you want to add humidity. You will constantly be filling it. The filter light could indicate a dirty blower or debris slowing down air flow over the heater.

The thermostat seems off as we have the temperature set at 60 degrees and, although the room temperature on the heater says 58, we are all moving around in short sleeves so it must be in at least the 70s! Is there a way to adjust the thermostat?
