Frigidare affinity stactable front loading dryer. runs for 10 to 15 seconds then shuts off. plenty of exhaust air. it has heat inside. tried resetting to factory specs but still have the same problem

Good Morning Percy, thank you for your inquiry!

From the information you have provided you Frigidaire dryer runs for 10 to 15 seconds and then will shut off. It sounds like it could be a possible problem with your thermostat or control panel. A reset may help with any internal miscommunications inside of your dryer. You can reset your dryer by disconnecting power from it for at least ten minutes. If that does not help your issue I would recommend having a professional technician out to perform an accurate diagnosis on your dryer to avoid any unnecessary part purchases. I hope this information is helpful to you. -Matt

Maytag Dryer Model med5630TQ0, run it for 30 minutes works great run a second time for 30 minutes it automatically shuts-off and than I have to wait until it cools off to use heat option

Try cleaning out the vent in the wall and also check the vent hose to ensure its not kinked. If good air flow coming out of vent on back of dryer while running you could have a bad motor. Have to be disassembled to check it professionally.

LG Tromm DLE8377NM check filter but filter is clean

You say lint hose is disconnected. Are you referring to the exhaust vent to the outside? I would suspect this vent is clogged or a vent flapper outside may be stuck shut.

Gas lights up for about 5 minutes and then burns out. Try to turn on dryer again, but flame won't light. I let dryer sit for aout 30 minutes and turn on again - flame starts up, but will only last...

If the flame is shutting of before it reaches the operating temperatures the likely failure is a restricted venting system. There is a high limit thermostat that will cause the flame to shut off if there is a lack of airflow due to a restriction in the vent system. Remove the lint filter screen and clean in with soap and water. The filter may appear clean but it could have a clear film of fabric softener residue covering it causing a restriction in the air flow too. After cleaning the filter reinstall it before running the next test.

For testing purposes only, disconnect the dryer vent hose from the back of the dryer and put a normal load of clothes in the dryer and start the dryer. If the clothes dry in the normal amount of time that would confirm a restriction in the vent hose or the venting system. NOTE: Do not leave the vent hose disconnected after running the test. Reconnect the vent hose.

You will likely find the clothes drying in the normal amount of time indicating a restriction in the venting.

Kenmore gas dryer works but no heat, model# 110.20702990.

make sure the exhaust vent is not plugged. shut gas off, disconnect hose, start dryer. stop and reconnect hose turn gas back on and try again.
also a propane dryer can work on on natural gas but it is very dangerous to run a natural gas dryer on propane because the orfice is too big.

It starts and runs for about 20 - 30 secondds then stops

Pwolf, looks like the problem you?re having is not with the dryer. The vent line is probably clogged up, which caused the dryer to overheat. The hi limit thermostat opens up which shuts off the dryer. After it cools down and closes, you are able to restart the dryer. To make sure this is a vent problem, you can disconnect the vent hose behind the dryer and run it for one load with it disconnected. If it runs fine, then the vent line needs cleaning. Usually it needs special equipment and is very hard to do yourself. It would cost you around $90 to get a professional out to do it for you. If it doesn?t run with the hose disconnected, then you have to provide the complete model number, which is located on the door frame. Gendos....post back.

My Kenmore 80 series dryer (64852) develops a buzzing sound while drying. Functionally it works just fine. However, after about 20min (this varies) of run time the dryer will usually begin to buzz. The buzzing seems to come and go for a short while and then becomes more constant. Then about 10min (give or take) before the dryer shuts off, the buzzing usually stops. It doesn't seem to matter what setting the dryer in on. (e.g. "Timed Dry", "Automatic Moisture Sensing") Often times when the dryer begins buzzing I can turn the dial back a bit and the buzzing usually stop for a short time. But it seems to pick up with the buzzing again before the dial reaches the same point where it began the first time. Also, because the buzzing remains fairly constant, and I get the impression that the thermostat is cycling things off and on like it should, I don't really think that this is an issue related to the heating element. Although I've been known to be wrong before. As far as I can tell it does have something to do with heat though, because the buzzing only seems to start after the machine has had time to run and warm up for a while and then stops during the last 10min when I assume the machine would be cooling down. Also, I keep the "End of Cycle Signal" in the OFF position all the time. When I have turned it on in the past it sounds distinctly different from the noise it make while drying. One more thing. The buzzing doesn't sound like vibrating parts to me. Thanks for any help you can give.
