Lost directions for audiovox answering machine model#axt847

The KX-TGA402N is a handset. The message is set on the answering machine. What make and model answering machine do you have connected to your phone line?

Since you declined to specify the model of your Uniden 5.8GHz expandable cordless phone system, I can only direct you to select it from the list beginning here to download a copy of the manual.

To put the message in a specific mail box, the caller needs to press *1, *2 or *3 (touch tone phone) before leaving their message. (Of course the answering system has to pick up before the key stroke.) Obviously the number corresponds to the mail box that will get the message.

So if you want to include these directions in your outgoing message, you would need to add something like "To leave a message for John press Star 1, for Sam press Star 2" when you record the ogm.
