This happens to me , Some games don't work on Some PS2 consoles for Example my friends Theme park world only works on a Slim PS2 and not a Proper Fat one , Wat type of PS2 do u have? and wat game r u trying to play?
it's dirty. that's all there is too it. your whole system is dirty if you haven't cleaned it. try cleaning it with spray-air or whatever you have in your stores. and if you've kept cleaning it try cleaning the laser.
My ps2 has/had the same problem, it wouldn't read DVD movies at all and ps1 games were always hit or miss. The only two solutions i can suggest are cleaning the lens or replacing the little cotton pad that holds the disk in place near the laser. This seemed to fix it for me, it works about 85% of the time now. Hope one of these helps
i think you should try other modes too like pal and others or in many tvs there is a option auto so the tv automatically select the best mode of color itself.....
