How do you replace the toner refill cartridge? we can't get it to release from the carrier portion.

Leave the drum/ toner cartridge in the copier. Open the front right access door and rotate the blue hook ring clockwise. Gently pull out the cartridge and reverse the process. You may want to put newspaper below the area so that if toner is spilled it can easily be cleaned up. There are also picture instructions on the toner cartridge box. This uses GPR-10 toner only.

I have replaced toner cartridge in HP laserjet 4 si. Now I have toner smears down the left side, about a 32nd inch in.

I don't normally say "call the manufacturer" but if it's a genuine HP cartridge (not another brand, and not refilled) call 1-800-HP-Invent and they'll walk you through a few steps, and if the cartridge is defective they'll send you a new one.
The toners have an out of the box warranty, so if you took the toner out of the box 3 weeks ago, it's still under warranty.

How do I obtain more Xerox return labels in order to return used toners? We're a central supply warehouse which receives used toners; the individuals who used the toners have not always saved the labels...

Hi!

Have you tried this option from Xerox?
Green Boxes, it seems like you order boxes for free from xerox to send back used toner cartridges.

This is the website:

I had newly replace the black color toner cartridge into my hp cp1515 printer but the LCD still shown re-install the toner cartridge and 10.1000 supply memory error. Please advice. Thanks.

The error says that the black cartridge e-label is missing.
Pull the black toner and make sure packing tape isn't covering it up.
Compare the black toner to one of the other ones to make sure that it isn't missing the e-label.
If you put the old black back in the printer, does the error go away?

Is there any way to refill an empty cartridge.

Hello thanks for using Fixya
In HP Laser Jet 2420 replace the cartridge is not difficult, but it is important to use the appropriate technique. The things you need is "Toner Cartridge" & "Recycling label"
Now follow this procedure

  • See the small latch on the front door of the printer. Pull the latch to open the door and catch to the toner cartridge
  • Now pick up the used toner cartridge by the handle and carefully lift it out of the printer. Set the toner cartridge aside for recycling.
  • After it open the box containing the new toner cartridge and remove any packing materials which is on the box, Grasp the toner cartridge by the handle and lower it into the printer until it locks into place now close the front door of the printer. The front door will not close if the toner cartridge is not properly inserted
  • Place the used toner cartridge in the box, Affix the prepaid shipping label that came with the new toner, and use it to send the used cartridge back for recycling.
You must do care by doing this. Otherwise go to any HP service center and give them your empty cartridge they will surely refill it.

I hope this solution will helpful 4 u

To replace the Canon GPR-11 black drum, do you just take the old one out and put the new one in? That is what we did and there is a band of black toner printing on the top of each sheet.

The new toner cartridge snap's into the top of the Hopper > just look on the box on how to install it. Once you have pulled the tab till you can read "STOP" push the slid back in and release the toner cartridge and you are done...... Put the empty cartridge into the "G" file

We have been sent a toner cartridge for our ir3300 but despite directions on the side of the box it does not appear to fit

Canon toner type GPR-6, correct? Open the front cover. Rotate lever to release toner/developer unit. Pull the unit straight out until it stops. Insert new cartridge to line up with top of toner/developer unit at a slight angle (lower at back) Once the cartridge stops at the rear (I would hold the toner/developer unit with one hand while inserting the cartridge) then lower the front end of toner cartridge down on top of the unit.....press down until toner cart. clicks into place. You will know because a tab pops out the front with clear plastic attatched. Pull the tab to release toner and release top of toner/dev. unit. Keep pulling until it stops. Wait about 7 seconds, now tap on toner cartridge to release all loose toner (don't forget to shake toner before opening) After about 15 seconds, toner should be fully loaded. Now push top cover of toner/developer unit back in until it latches, you will know because the empty cartridge releases from the unit. Now remove empty cartridge, reinsert unit, turn latch handle and close front cover.
