No notices show up on home page frozen

What site do you normally have on your browser as a start page? I use Paul & Associates Computer Services, Google & MSN as a start page. You just need to check your IE options by clicking Tools and then Internet Options. The first thing that you should see the site designation. If not just click and put for example http://www.paulcomputerservices.com/ or http://www.msn.com/ as your start pages. Then you can navigate from their to other sites that you commonly use day-to-day.

I can t get on the internet but can get on msm what am i doing wrong i have just been connected to sky broadband

If you mean "MSN" instaed of "MSM" you're on the internet. MSN is a homepage. You can type in your Bing search bar and select any home page you want. If this doen't help, let me know or repost>

I can not seem to connect to msn.com. I can

Couple of things to check. Make sure you software firewall has not been accidentally set to block this site. If you are using an Antivirus program you will find advanced firewall settings in the configuration section.

Secondly, click Tools on the top Menu bar in Internet Explorer, and then choose Internet Options. Re-enter MSN as your homepage and click OK, in the event the URL has been changed from your original page.

Hope this helps.

The screen is frozen at the Window XP screen

See if you can boot in safe mode. Turn on computer and repeatedly press F5, select the safe mode option if you can get in then the problem might be you have too many start up programs trying to load when windows start. Find out which ones you do not need and prevent them from starting up when you log on.
