hi what is your problem cd rom or your printer? ithink you have a printer but the your printer need a installer but you dont have a cd rom.. try to search in net type the brand of your printer and the model.. example (hp deskjet 6127 installer) i hope it helps you a lot.
frist you need to uninstall the printer from the cd..insert the cd first then go to the cd do explore>>utill>>ccc>>uninstall l3..after that go to control pannel..add a remove program then delete all the programs related hp printers..restart the computer.then download the software from hp.com..reinstall it..it will work..best of luck!!
YEs, it is. But right NOW, the software CD for the Windows ME supported printer Driver is no longer available. However, if you still have the Software CD that came with the printer when you purchase it, much better. You can use that CD to install everything so that your printer will work. Also, if you no longer have the SW CD, the least thing that you can do is to go to printers and faxes/printers (that should be inside control panel menu) and perform "ADD a PRINTER".
I hope that this information is clear to you. and if you still have questions, please dont hesitate to ask me.
