Hold the SRC button until the stereo turns off. Hold in on the function button (or volume knob) until the setup menu turns on... once it comes up, you can scroll thru selections with the volume knob and turn them on and off by clicking in on the knob. AUX2 will be one of those settings.

I found this page while searching for a problem I just fixed thought this would help anyone else with the same problem. On car stereo's with a removable faceplate, remove it and hold the reset button for about 5 sec. or until you hear a beep to get aux mode back.

Apparently, this auxiliary input only works for a Kenwood CD changer or a sirius radio connection. At least that is my conclusion after finding the same problem. Let me know if you figured anything out on this.

How to hook up a sirius radio to a alpine ada105 car stereo do i need any interface cables or anything else the stereo is sat radio ready

you shouldnt have to purchase any other cables to hook up sirus however somtimes due to the changes in the manufactor weather it be xm or sirius you may come across your radio not interfacting with the package you bought you might want to check the manufacture about this sirius 99 percent of the time will hook up to most JVC Alpine, Kenwood, ECT but you need to look at the back of your reciever at your connections on the back you should have in output and or input for for either aux in the back such as for a cd changer or in your case that will be used for your sirius hook up. My names Josh and i hope your able to get it figured out.

I have a sirius ready cd player installed in my jeep. I was wondering how I get sirius radio..when you scroll through Cd,radio, aux , there is sirius so i dont think i need another radio...but i dont know...

Looking at the user manual on page 13, you have to purchase and connect the XMD1000 module to in order to get the satellite radio service. If the module is installed, you'll get a display telling you to sign up for service.

JBL MR-17.2 not recognizing Sirius satellite receiver.

I have the exact same issue. I have swapped with two identical MR17.2 radios and swapped out the sirius receiver. No change. I even bought a remote thinking I had to have a remote installed to get it to work...still no diff. Have you ever found a solution?

I have a sirius satellite radio plugged in with the aux in jack and i get some buzzing through the speakers but only on aux. Would this be a bad cable or what?

You could try a better sheilded cable , but I have seen this with new cars, new cables, and all types of aux players. If you can't eliminate the problem Sirius does make a fm modulator that works great.

Your going to need to pull off the battery cable for about 2 to 5 minutes and see if this will reset the radio. Good Luck
