Uninstalling .net 2.0 software

Hello again etuckram,

This might be a repeat of my previous message:

I tried going through windows/add remove programs and it says this cannot be removed? Not having much experience with this software until I tried to make AiO software for my 5100 work. I am unsure about how to proceed. I have included an image showing all .net software I have installed. Can I remove 2.0 despite what windows says and does that interfere with 1.0 and 1.1 already installed?

Regards James

It could make your other software stop running but you will reinstall it right away so you have nothing to worry about.

C:/Progam Files/blocktards/unins000.dat what is this error and how do i fix it

Hello crouch8323,
Welcome to FixYa.Com!
Unins000.dat is a files that if used by Blocktards' uninstaller to properly uninstall Blocktards off of your Desktop. If your are trying to uninstall Blocktards and you are getting an error message, I recommend that you uninstall Blocktards from the Control Panel's Add & Remove Program (for Windows XP) or Programs & Features (for VISTA or 7). If you still have the same error message, you can also try uninstalling Blocktards by going to the Start Menu, All Programs, Blocktards, and click Uninstall. If these steps give you the same error message, you may need to use Blocktards installer to uninstall the game, see if running the installer gives you the option to modify, remove or repair. And if all else fails you can always use a 3rd party uninstaller software like the option found in CCleaner.

Uninsalling Where in the world is Carmen Sandiego

Try uninstalling through some uninstalling softwares like Zsoft Uninstaller or ccleaner.

you can use ccleaner to delete the entry from add/remove programs, then delete the folder from the Program Files, to remove the registry entries use ccleaner to to clean the registry too.so that you can install this software later without any issues.

However you might want to try this...

2. Shut the computer down.

3. Unplug the scanner from the computer

3. Restart the computer

4 Install the software from the CD.

5. plug in the scanner to the computer and let windows detect the scanner.

Getting message stating add-on was running when problem occurred

Try going into your control panel & uninstall your Internet explorer, then re-install it. IE7 uninstall can be found in the main add-remove program window, IE6 uninstall can be found under the add-remove windows components part of the add-remove programs. To re-install IE7, though, you need to go to windows update to download IE7 again. This won't be a problem because uninstalling IE7 automaticaly returns you to IE6

Uninstalling .Net 2.0

I suggest you to verify if you have administrator rights on your computer (Control Panel > User accounts and check if your name says Administrator)
You could try to reinstall the .NET framework 2.0 by going to microsoft website (on serch, look for .NET framework download and it will take you there), and see what happens.
If it is still not working, you should contact Microsoft because this would be an issue with Windows itself.

When trying to open adobe reader 8.1.1 get following message: patch package could not be opened. verify that the patch package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify...

it sounds like the application that is needed to uninstall the version 8 is corrupted or missing. Try reinstalling version 8 first then uninstall it before loading version 9. If you can reinstall version 8 and it asks you if you want to repair or install, choose install to get all of the files back before uninstalling it again. Always uninstall from add/remove programs. If deleting it from program files instead of uninstalling it correctly it will cause problems.
