Lost disk to install printer i have lost my disk for my printer and i can't install my printer

    Do you know the brand name and model number of the printer that you have? Usually the companies keep all of their printer drivers online and are free to download.

Hi parispaiges2,

It seems that Samsung doesn't support the ML-5000a printer anymore, but with a little digging through their site, I was able to find the appropriate driver page.

Just download the driver corresponding to the operating system you are using and you should be good to go.

Lost disk to install
Lexmark does not distribute replacement install disk for all models.

Contact Lexmark here, to see if the disk for your printer is available.


If you do not have the disk you must download the software from Internet, follow instructions below,

Click here:Official Lexmark Drivers and Software

A web page will open, follow instructions, select model, select operative system etc., and click on download .
Chose to download the file in my documents when asked.
Afterdownloading, find thefile,double click on the file, then if you get introubles, follow the instructions below to reset and reinstall drivers:

  • Unplug printer USB.
  • Go to control panel >> installed printers in Windows and remove (delete ) any installed printer from printer list.
  • Download driver from website and run the file.
  • Follow driver installation wizard.
  • Plug back printer when prompted from installation wizard.
Note:some printer does not work on Vista

Here is the driver download page:

Lexmark Z640 - Drivers & Downloads
Download the software into your computer, locate downloaded files and start installation program.
Start installation with printer USB cable unplugged, plug when required by software setup.
