Question about Zyxel P-334WT (P334WT) Firewall
Hi, I have a Zyxel P334WT router that was setup and working at my home. I was having trouble with the modem always disconnecting so went to the Roadrunner company and got a new modem. Now that I setup the new modem to my main computer, the internet only works with the modem directly connected to my computer. When I hook everything up to the router like it was before. Nothing seems to work. I tried to unplug everything and let it restart but that didn't work. Could you please help me to get the wireless working again?
First of all Reset by pressing a reset button or with the help of a pen. turn if off and restart ur computer Once you connect ur computer with router.. go to start-run- type ipconfig. if you are getting an ip address in range of 192.168.1.2 to 192.168.1.255, 1.Launch your web browser(IE). Enter ?192.168.1.1? as the web site address. 2.The default password (?1234?) in internet access setup choose "Encapsulation as ethernet and there should be nothing in username or password.incase you have been provided with username and password from ur ISP then enter those with ip address assignment setting as dynamic. See if you can open the routers settings page. once you open it follow the instructions given on this link in .PDF format to SETUP ur router for ur internet connection. http://us.zyxel.com/web/download2/P-334WT/quick_start_guide/P-334WT_1.pdf To learn about ur router n setup more visit: http://us.zyxel.com/web/download2/P-334WT/support_note/P-334WT_3.60.pdf I am also using the same router and i did the same thing with the help of *** support team. i got it fixed in just 15 minutes. u can contact them on *** Just try it out and let me know or call *** team. i am sure they will help you out. Tips for a great answer:
D-Link routers use the connection from your Internet service provider to create a wireless network for the various Wi-Fi-enabled devices in your home or office.
Once the router is installed, you can truly enjoy the portable capabilities of your laptop or other wireless device.
D-Link routers have a straightforward installation process, despite the advanced technology behind wireless equipment.
So there is no reason to wait around for a technician to help you install your wireless equipment.
Remove the cable that is attached to the "Internet" port on the rear of your DSL or cable modem.
Plug the Ethernet cable into the "Internet" port on the modem and plug the other end of the cable into the "Internet" port on the rear of the D-Link router.
Attach the power adapter to the port on the rear of the router and plug the adapter's cord into a outlet.
Remove the power cord from your modem and wait 10 seconds before plugging it back in. This will reinitialize your modem and force it to establish a connection to the D-Link router.
Your router will immediately begin distributing a wireless network with the "D-Link" network name.
Connect your computer to one of Ethernet ports on the rear of the router and open a Web browser.
Type "http://192.168.0.1" into the address bar and press "Enter." Enter "admin" into the username field and type "admin" again into the password field.
Click "OK" to open the wireless configuration page.
Click "Wireless Security Setup Wizard" to create a wireless password for your router's network. Click "Apply" to save the changes to the router's settings.
hope this helps

Before doing a hard reset on the router you may want to try the default username and password. While this is not the same for all routers, this may allow you access to your router.
Username: Admin or Administrator
Password: <Blank>, try just pressing enter or try "admin" as the password as well.
If this does not work and you believe the router is using the default username and passwords try viewing the default settings at routerpasswords.com
Resetting your router
If the default username and password doesn't work it's likely you or someone whose setup your router has enabled a password that has been forgotten. Thankfully most routers will have a small pinhole button on the back or bottom of the router (like that shown in the picture to the right), pressing this button in and holding on this button for 10-15 seconds will hard reset the router. After this has been done setup the router again and enter a username and password that you can write down.
hope this helps

First, go to ur Router Configuration Page. There are 2 pg into related WireLess Configuration Settings. So u find ur problem into the WPA security configuration is under the wlan Security section, and then you select WPA PSK (Pre Shared Key) and TKIP encryption for Lan security. As well as changing the WPA Mode to enabled, u will need to enter a WPA Pre-Shared Key. So u found, which is a Network key and why to need.
