Dvd - cd rom wont work

toshiba ODD-DVD SD-R5272
i removed my version of roxio media creator and my cd rom stopped working.
the driver version was 5.1.2535
it comes up with code 39 (the driver may be corrupted or missing.
what should i do?

Dear friend,

In your system cdrom drivers currupted for that drivers you need to install a mscdx file in drive "c" then it works fine.
