Yes, if you have a photo editing program, like googles free Picassa. You can change the text all kinds of ways from the basics to the shadow directions. There are all sorts of fonts and colors, look in your programs, the chances are that you have a photo editing program. Most of them if not all, have the features to allow experimenting. I just did a similar thing on an old document where I scrolled until finding the almost perfect text, and then was able to fade it and change the shape and texture to look like the original text. Good luck

D_foofat, This link will take you to instructions on cleaning your Cartridge Print Head: http://h10061.www1.hp.com/ccsearch/search?method=viewDocument&redirUrl=http%3A%2F%2Fh10025.www1.hp.com%2Fewfrf%2Fwc%2Fdocument%3Fdocname%3Dc00285228%26cc%3Dus%26lc%3Den%26dlc%3Den%26product%3D402150%26dlc%3Den%26lang%3Den&docId=document%28c00285228%29&uqry=&cqry=clean+printhead&ctry=us&dlc=en&lang=en&qry=clean+print+head I hope it helps, and Good luck.
It sounds like the color ink cartridge is clogged. You can try taking the color cartridge out, and take a paper towel and some windex with amonia. Spray the paper towel with the windex and then take the color cartridge, and wipe the bottom of the ink cartridge. After wiping the bottom of the cartridge, try pressing on the bottom of the cartridge (Print head) with the paper towel...You should start seeing some ink soaking into the paper towel. If you do not see any ink on the paper towel, then try wiping it again with the windex/paper towel. If after a couple tries, you can not get the ink to flow from the print head, then I would suggest getting a new cartridge.
The HP ink cartridges can get a bit tricky and the print heads will clog when the printer is left sitting for a long period of time.
Hope this helps.
Good luck. If you have any other questions, feel free to post them.
