Since you have not had the laptop for very long it should still be under the warranty. You really should just take it back to the place that you bought it and have them fix or replace it.

If you are not willing to take it back, you can try to fix it yourself, but be aware that if you damage the laptop trying to fix it you will void your warranty and you will not be able to get it fixed for free no matter what goes wrong with it. All manufacturers void the warranty if they detect that anybody who is not an authorized servicer has attempted repairs.

The safest way to fix this would be to get a can of compressed air at Best Buy or some other retailer that sells computers, it will cost about $5 to $10 for it. Then take the can of compressed air and spray out the keyboard in the area that the bad key is at first. It should come with a small tube that fits into the nozzle so you can direct the air right into the area you need it. That should blow out any materials that are stuck in there. You may also want to take a small cloth and soak it into just a small amount of windex and clean the top and sides of the key. If this doesn't help, you will need to take it for repair, the only other option is to take the laptop apart and check the bottom of the keyboard area to see if there is something broken or stuck inside of it. But taking the laptop apart is not something you should do unless yu have some experience with these, you could damage the laptop.

Brighten lcd screen

OK, you are part right. The Fn key on most laptops is written in BLUE. This corresponds to the BLUE legends on various keys on the keyboard. MOST laptops have a pair of generic symbols for the screen brightness up and down . The brightness UP is a blue square (rectangle) with a large asterisk inside. The brightness DOWN is the same except it has a small asterisk inside. You will usually find these two keys as a secondary function of a function key.

Example: On my ACER netbook Fn+F6 = brightness UP and Fn+F5 = brightness DOWN

HP pavilion jDv2915 laptop screen is not showing anything on the screen except for red and blue colours and lines , no matter what keys i press . it sometimes goes to normal when i press cntrl + alt+ del ...

It looks like a virus attack which is eating up your RAM memory since it sometimes comes back to normal on pressing cntrl+alt+del. It should open the task manager. Check what applications & processes are running. Run a thorough virus scan & see if solves the problem. If the laptop cannot be kept on during this scanning process I am afraid you will have to go to a authorized service center.

"G" "H" "Alt"

Hi there, I would download Spybot from www.safer-networking.org and run it. See if it picks any baddies up.

If it doesn't then it could just be that the ribbon that links the keyboard to the motherboard has come loose. Let me know the details of your laptop model and if you feel comfortable you should be able to sort it out in about 10 minutes or so.

Regards

Chris

Automatically ctrl key is pressed

first make sure that the keyboard is ok, you can press the ctrl key and compare with the feeling when press other keys, to see if there is different, may be some thing stuck there, if there is no problem, check the driver is installed correct, you can get the keyboard type from the check list of the computer or contact with the supplyer, and install a correct driver
