SOURCE: Per Webroot spysweeper need to find option program & update definitions?
To open Webroot, double click on the icon on your desktop or find it in the start menu. If it is the first time you are running the program, it will prompt automatically to update the definition file. However if it not the first time, once the program has opened click on "Home" on the left hand side of the open window. There should be two options-check for program updates or check for definition updates. Simply click on check for definition updates and you should be good to go :)

Launch Webroot. Click on HELP, ABOUT and write down any legal information or serial numbers. If this is a legal purchased product contact Webroot about the problem from this site:

If this expired or problematic, you can uninstall it and load AVG FREE EDITON version 8. Do a search with these words: AVG FREE EDITION DOWNLOAD. and download the program. It's free for private use.

the antivirus that u installed is stoping some critical windows files getting loaded...as it sees these DLL files/exe files as potential trojens/virus....the same issue is with Avira Antivirus....try useing Mcafee or AVG AV...they r good free AVs....
to get ur desktop....when u boot press F8 and if get to the option screen...chose Safe mode to load windows...if u get to work in Safe mode.....uninstall the Webroot AV...and run a chkdsk in DOS prompt...
to go to dos prompt...do this
Start / Run / type cmd there in the box...in the balck screen....go to c:\
type cd windows
type chkdsk
after chkdsk is complete shut down and restart...
this should fix...
then install AVG or Mcafee
