Question about Scytek 2000RS-M Remote Control

1 Answer

Timer in auto start.

So my problem is that I lost the manual for my auto start and I really need to reset it because the 10 minutes it has set now are not enough.
I live in Alaska and it's getting pretty cold and I need more time than that (my car does too). so please tell me how do I do that?
It's a two way and one remote has a little sceen with a car picture and the other one has only five buttons. in the back it says "433MHz" if that helps....

I'm trying to cut off the timer on a sony t.v.RM-Y909 so I can turn my t.v. on with the remote control.

The RM-Y909 works for the KP46WT500, among other TVs. For the KP46WT500: to reset Timer 1 or Timer 2, you need to access the timer sub-menu. With the TV on, press Menu. Use the Joystick on the remote to select the Timer icon (looks like a clock) then press the center of the joystick (with the + with a circle at the center symbol). Use the joystick to select the timer you want to reset and then press Reset (on the left side at the bottom of the remote). Alternatively, you can just turn off the timer. The TV will remember the settings. Press Menu to exit the menus.

Sony has the manual on their product support page in the manuals tab: https://esupport.sony.com/US/p/model-home.pl?mdl=KP46WT500 . The direct link is https://docs.sony.com/release/KP46WT500.PDF . The Timer menu section is on page 57. I hope this helps.

You will need three things to get this to start working again.
1. the original remote control that came with your TV.
2. the operating manual that original came with your TV.
3. and the ability to read the operating manual and follow the instructions on setting up the tv channels auto scan.

I have a phillips magnavox tv without a remote, the tv moved off 3 and cannot get it back. it goes from 2 to 4 help?

Make a cold reset to the set, and check. To do it, unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it after 10 minutes or so. This must hep you. After that, make an auto-tune process. Refer its user manual for details.

How do I set the sleep timer? We got the tv from a friend and it had no manuel.

Programming the Sleep Timer:

  1. Press and release the TV key.
  2. Press and hold the SLEEP key for three seconds. The illuminated component name turns on.
  3. Release the SLEEP key.
  4. Using the number keys, enter the desired time in minutes (from 1-99 minutes). To set the timer to an umber under 10 minutes, first press 0 and then the desired number (e.g.,05 for five minutes). The illuminated component name blinks with each key press.
  5. Once the second number is entered, the illuminated component name turns off.
Tip Any key press other than the number keys is ignored. If you don't enter the sleep time within 10 seconds after pressing the SLEEP key, you must start over at step 1. The illuminated component name blinks four times and then turns off, indicating your attempt to program the Sleep Timer has been unsuccessful.
  6. The Sleep Timer is now set.
  7. Leave remote aimed at the TV. Once the Sleep Timer is set, you can continue to use the remote without affecting the Sleep Timer. However, because the timing mechanism for the Sleep Timer is built into the remote itself, the remote must be in TV Mode and pointed at the TV to activate the Sleep Timer.
Note: If the ON·OFF key is pressed, the Sleep Timer is canceled.

Have a pnosonic inverter which we have tried to set the timer on a number of ocassions only to find the air con starts on its own during the night for example we tried to set it to start at 5:50am and it...

Your thermostat may have a "learn" feature that learns how long it takes to get to your target temperature by the time you set (instead of start at the time you set). To get to the target temp in time, it has to start early. There is no way to turn it off on some units, other units may have an on/off feature for "anticpate", "target", or "learn".

Just bump back the time by 30 to 45 minutes.

WHITE-WESTINGHOUSE TV/VCR COMBO NEED CODE

The code for the TV is 0623 but to use the TV/VCR button to change mode from line to TV the code is one of the following 0179, 0451, 0463, 0624 or 0278. The 0623 only activates the menu but doesn´t let you change Air/Cable mode without first changing the Line/TV mode by pressing the TV/VCR or Line input button on your universalk remote with one of the other codes.
