SOURCE: don't hear audio in multitrack

One of these must be the case:

  1. You've not enabled monitoring in multitrack view.
  2. The hardware setup is not correct under multitrack view.
  3. You may have to (I forget if this was the case for sure or not) send each signal you're listening to to the Master... I'll have to look at home..
If that doesn't work, offer these clarifications, and I may can check into at home:
  1. What version of Windows or other OS?
  2. What version of Audition?
  3. What sound hardware do you have installed (more than one? - please provide specific card(s)/device(s))

How do I widen screen

The top and bottom bars are standard widescreen viewing. Your TV should have a zoom feature that you could use to zoom in past the standard 16:9 format. Look for a zoom button on your remote or in the tv setup settings.

Can you restore my laptop screen to full size at the moment it is half size

Open up a web page on the top of the internet page you should see some tabs file edit view favourites tools and help click on the view tab on the drop down list you should see a zoom size % click a different percentage

also a text size you might try a different text size although this will not increase the size of the page only the text inside it

if you do not see these tabs in the top toolbar right click in the top toolbar you will see a number of toolbars and options select the menu tab this will add at it to the toolbar

right click in the top toolbar select the menu bar this will add the menu to the toolbar then select the view option then from the drop down list select full screen

alternativevly

Change the resolution of the screen to its maximum in cases where the screen size has been compromised due to selecting a non-native resolution.

To accomplish this, right click on the desktop and select the option to "Personalize."

From there, click on "Display Settings," then slide the resolution bar all the way to the right and press "Ok" to confirm your choice.

This should restore your screen to its proper size.

Is there a setting to fix half screen displayed web pages

right click in the top toolbar (top of screen) you will have an array of options select the menu bar this will add File Edit View Favorites tools and Help to the toolbar select view then from the drop down list select FULL SCREEN

if this does not fix the problem

Open Personalization by clicking the
Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking Appearance and Personalization, and then clicking Personalization.

Click Window Color and Appearance.

Under Window Color and Appearance, click the color you want, and then click OK.

Note

If you see the Appearance Settings dialog box instead of the Window Color and Appearance

window, the theme might not be set to Windows Vista, the color scheme might not be set to Windows Aero, or the computer might not meet the minimum hardware requirements for running Windows Aero. For more information, see Troubleshoot problems with Windows Aero.

HOW,DO I RESTORE MY TOOLS VIEW FILE HELP BUTTONS

You don't write in which application did your menu bar disappear.
Perhaps you entered "full screen mode", which removes menus and stuff to maximize the viewing area. Depending on application, try F11 key on the keyboard or F9.
If this is not the case, then perhaps you have accidentally dragged the menu bar somewhere - in new applications the standard "File/Edit/View...." menu is movable.
In Internet Explorer you might have turned the menu off by accident. Right-click the menu area, and you will see a context menu, showing a list of bars/strips that are enabled (with a checkmark) or disabled (without). If you see something else, choose a slightly different spot to right-click. If the option "Menu bar" is not checked, just click it and the menu should appear.

I have a 550 series plasma Samsung Tv 54''.. I cannot get the picture to pick up for example the football score at the top of the screen, nor the NASCAR readout at the top. I get a piece of it but can't...

The problem may be not in your TV but in your receiver, if you use a cable or satellite receiver. Sometimes those also have similar settings for picture mode - it's rare, but I've seen it.

If not, then it must be tv's zoom mode is just set to something other than "standard".

Hi there.
Click on the Tools menu, located in the upper right hand corner of your browser window. When the drop-down menu appears, select Menu Bar.
You should now see the Menu Bar displayed in the toolbar section of your browser window. To hide the Menu bar, simply repeat Step 2.

4.14.1 Understanding Viewing Features
Your LCD HDTV features four viewing modes and Picture-In-Picture (PIP)/Picture-by-Picture (POP) mode.
You can switch viewing modes using the remote control.
4.14.2 Viewing Modes
Normal Mode
The original 4:3 aspect ratio (1.33:1 source) is preserved, so black bars are
added to the left and right of the display image. Standard TV broadcasts are
displayed with a 4:3 Aspect Ratio. Movies in 4:3 Aspect Ratio may be referred
to as pan-and-scan or full frame. These movies were originally filmed in 16:9
(widescreen), and then modified to fit a traditional TV screen (4:3).
Wide Mode
When watching a standard broadcast or full-frame movie in this mode,
the display image is stretched proportionately to fill the TV screen.
When watching a widescreen (1.78:1 source) program or movie, the
display image fills the TV screen. If you are watching a widescreen
(1.85:1 or 2.35:1 source) program or movie, there will still be black
bars at the top and bottom.
Zoom Mode
When watching a widescreen (1.78:1, 1.85:1, or 2.35:1 source)
program or movie, the display image is zoomed proportionally to fill the
width of the screen. The top and bottom are cut off to remove most of
the source material’s black bars. This mode is good for programs or
movies with sub-titles.
Panoramic Mode
When watching a standard broadcast or full frame movie in this mode,
the 4:3 Aspect Ratio (1.33:1 source) display image is stretched
horizontally on the left and right sides to fill the TV screen. The center
of the image is not stretched.

Note: Viewing modes are saved based on input. For example, you lasted watched a DVD in widescreen
mode and then watched TV in standard mode. When you switch back to DVD input, the viewing mode
will return to widescreen.

Unable to view fullscreen in hdtv

That is the way HDTV is viewed on many screens as a wide fromat. So you will get top and bottom non-viewable areas. It is the width that gives the full imagery for that format. To have the screen filled you would get a standard 4:3 format like standard TV. HD is a 16:9 format so it is much wider.
