SOURCE: Gmail tool bar!
i had a google toolbar plus gmail but used a recovery tape now lost google toolbar and cant get my gmail
Open up a web page on the top of the internet page you should see some tabs file edit view favourites tools and help click on the view tab on the drop down list you should see a zoom size % click a different percentage
also a text size you might try a different text size although this will not increase the size of the page only the text inside it
if you do not see these tabs in the top toolbar right click in the top toolbar you will see a number of toolbars and options select the menu tab this will add at it to the toolbar
right click in the top toolbar select the menu bar this will add the menu to the toolbar then select the view option then from the drop down list select full screen Change the resolution of the screen to its maximum in cases where the screen size has been compromised due to selecting a non-native resolution. To accomplish this, right click on the desktop and select the option to "Personalize." From there, click on "Display Settings," then slide the resolution bar all the way to the right and press "Ok" to confirm your choice. This should restore your screen to its proper size.

hope this helps
right click in the top toolbar (top of screen) you will have an array of options select the menu bar this will add File Edit View Favorites tools and Help to the toolbar select view then from the drop down list select FULL SCREEN
if this does not fix the problem
Open Personalization by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking Appearance and Personalization, and then clicking Personalization.
Click Window Color and Appearance.
Under Window Color and Appearance, click the color you want, and then click OK.
Note
If you see the Appearance Settings dialog box instead of the Window Color and Appearance
window, the theme might not be set to Windows Vista, the color scheme might not be set to Windows Aero, or the computer might not meet the minimum hardware requirements for running Windows Aero. For more information, see Troubleshoot problems with Windows Aero.
hope this helps
