I have the same error, but use WMP10. I tried to sync some songs with WMP10, but about a 1/4 of the way through, it had an error (not the first time this has happened). So, I disconnected it and ever since, I have had the error "Please connect player to PC." I have the software installed on my computer and haven't had a problem. Anyone else?

I've put mp3 files on, but nothing's playing

Simply the player is dead! If you connected player to the pc with no problem it means NO ERROR messages and the driver for the player is ok, you have copied all the mp3 files in ONE directory to the player and nothing happened there are only two possibilities either the PLAY button is stucked or the mp3 player is dead!

Midway through playing a song my ipod has frozen and none of the buttons are working. Nothing happens when I connect it to my PC via USB. The screen is still on but it has frozen.

problem can be solved.

Before connecting the phone to the computer, did you scan for virus?, it not, that means the mp3 player has been affected by virus that is what makes the mp3 player freezes.

The mp3 players memory has been lost due to virus in it and can be restored by flashing it.

Flashing the mp3 will restore the lost memory.

After flashing the mp3 player, the lost memory will be restored and it will come on normally.

Take care.

I get nothing from my player.

I just had this problem again this morning and solved it in about a minute. For my player all I do is hold the "on" button down for about one minute (maybe a minute and a half) then try to turn it on normally a few seconds later. It has always solved my problem!

Same problem with MP3

try to connect it other computer,if it works normal on other pc then its ok, or you can also try to use other usb port in your pc, and if this doesnt solve your problem, i think you should replace it.
