Question about Frigidaire 30" Self-Cleaning Freestanding Electric Range - White-on-White
I have a Frigidaire self-cleaning oven with the smoothtop cooking top and the oven door does not want to close all the way. I have had the door off and I cannot see anything that would be stopping it from closing. I do not see any springs on the hinges and it has worked fine up until my son decided to lean on the door. I cannot figure out how to get it to close again and with Thanksgiving coming up I need my oven to cook dinner in. Can someone please help me with this?
Your going to have to replace both the door hinges, since they have been over extended past ninety degrees they are not able to close to ninety degrees. that is the only repair, i would also look closely at the inner door panel and make sure that is not "crowned" or bent from the force that might also need replacing
