There is no 'sensor' for this, an internal counter resets when you remove the drawer with the machine switched on and the "Dreg drawer Full" message displayed.
Make sure the machine displays this message "DREG DRAWER FULL" Do NOT turn off the machine, Pull out the drawer that the used grinds are dumped in(you have to remove the drip tray 1st) Check display - it should read "DREG DRAWER MISSING" If the display message is correct, wait 10 seconds then replace the drewer.
Message should be cleared.
If the "dreg drawer missing" does not display, you do have a bad sensor and machine needs to be serviced.

I found that the sensor can get blocked up with coffee powder, causing the "Dredgedrawer Full" warning to stay on. I gently slide a plastic knife blade into the sensor slot and find that this this resets it. Been doing that for a few months successfully now (it locks on Dredgedrawer Full about once a week).

make sure you empty the dregdrawer only if the machine is turned on, otherwise it will not count it as emptied.

When I turn my saeco royal cappuccino machine on then it tells me that the dregdrawer is full but it isnt full. So can anybody tell me whats the problem? Maybay the drawers sensor is broken or something?

Drawer sensor (activated by horizontal tab on left side of drawer) works on the weight (like a mini scale) of the drawer when full. The motion of the sensor can become restricted due to grinds limiting the movement upward to the default position.
If 'stuck', the sensor thinks the drawer is heavy and therefore full.
Clean it (old toothbrush, hot water, steam run from your spigot) so it moves freely and your problem should be solved.
Happy brewing!!

Dregdrawer Full

I read somewhere that there is a counter in the machine that when a certain amount of shots are done, the counter will reach its limit and tell you to empty the drawer, even if it's not full.

When I get the message I open the door, remove the drawer and it goes away once you replace it. Don't know why the machine would stop working though?

Dregdrawer. miss.

Make sure the machine is clean of coffee grinds. Mine has a nasty habit of dropping them behind the dregdrawer instead of in it. Remove the central unit and give it a good clean. The dregdrawer should then slide back fully into the microswitch.
If this doesn't work, you've probably got a dud microswitch.

"dregdrawer" is full

You must have the dregs box out of the machine 5-10 sec and the machine have to be power on.
If it still not get to work then try this:

Make sure the pin on the side not is worn, the pin goes to a microswitch in the machine.
If it is worn then try to put a tape on it to see if help.

Best regards

Dregdrawer full message will not go away

Have you tried removing the drawer with the machine on, leave it out for say 2 minutes and then replacing the dreg drawer again?

There is no dreg sensor. Dreg drawer full works off a counter - depending on when the counter was last reset your drawer may be full but it may be empty.

Simply removing the dreg drawer and replacing it quickly will not reset it. The machine has to think that you have actually taken the time to empty it - a couple of minutes should cover this.

If this does not resolve the issue, you need to get a Technician to take a look.

I hope this helps

drain machine, turn off power , get vacuum cleaner nozzle into drawer slot (make sure its dry or u'll have to post a repair for vacuum cleaner repair) remove all deposits for chamber , shake and bang machine to lossen deposits. if drawer has metal clips or something that looks like sensors (does not have to have wires attached to be a sensor) clean !
