Will iTunes cause my DVD burner to be unrecongnizable by Slideshow Expressions? How can I fix this?

Best brmoff

I found the following information on Individual Software's website. Yes, music downloaded using iTunes may indeed cause problems with SlideShow Expressions. I include a link for more reading; go to 'frequently asked questions': http://support.individualsoftware.com.

From: 11407336

Why won't my music files work in Photo & Video Expressions?

Photo & Video Expressions is not compatible with audio files that have been protected by Digital Rights Management (DRM) functionality. Most audio files purchased online through Internet music retailers like iTunes, Urge, or Rhapsody are encrypted with some form of DRM. Similarly, audio files that have been extracted from a CD or DVD (the process known as "ripping") using certain media applications (iTunes, Windows Media Player, etc.) often have default settings that encrypt the files extracted.

There is no way to use DRM audio files purchased from online music retailers with Photo & Video Expressions. However, if you want to use music and audio files that you have extracted from your CD collection, then all you have to do is change the ripping setting in your media application before you extract the files to your computer.

To Change Your Ripping Settings:

iTunes

  1. Click Edit on the iTunes menu bar and click Preferences.
  2. Click the Advanced tab in the Preferences window.
  3. Click the Importing tab.
  4. Click the Import Using drop down arrow, and click MP3 Encoder.
  5. Click the Settings drop down arrow, and click the desired sound quality.
(NOTE: The higher the kbps (kilobits per second), the larger the file.)
  6. The Custom... setting allows you to adjust more specific settings.
  7. Click the OK button when you are finished.
  8. Click the CD title in the left pane of the iTunes window.
  9. Click the checkbox for each track to rip, and then click the Import CD button in the lower right corner of the iTunes window.
  10. Once the extraction process has completed, you can use these audio files in your Photo & Video Expressions project.

I want to change my yahoomail language from italia to english

Your country/language setting - what Yahoo! Mail calls your "Preferred Content" - can be adjusted by following these steps:
-Click on your user name which is located at the top of your Yahoo! Mail page, next to the Yahoo! Mail logo. This will open a pull-down menu.
-Click Edit My Account.
-This will open a new window in which you will be prompted to re-enter your password. You will then be re-directed to your Yahoo! ID Card.
-Under "Member Information" in your Yahoo! ID Card, click the Edit link. This will take you to "Member Details."
-Click on the link next to Preferred Content and from there you can select from a list that best meets your content needs.
-Click Finished.

Are you seeing garbled characters in a non-US-language email? If so, you can change Yahoo! Mail's character encoding setting. It's easy! Here's how:
-In the tool-bar, click More Actions and select Set Encodings.
-From the list that appears, select the encoding that matches the message's content.

Note: Only one character encoding set may be viewed at a time. And in this case, changing your browser's encoding setting will not work.

Serato won't recognize my music files

your using itunes and trying to export your library that is the problem it has metatag encoding which at this time is not supported by serato and says it all over there sites forum. There are ways to do it but none of which i know that are legal or condone. Your best bet is to not use itunes as many djs acknowlodge that since you cant use itunes to dj with, even in your bedroom as stated in there terms of service that it is not worth using itunes. I use other types of music collections on like such as mp3.com and rhapsody or dancerecords.com to download all my music to dj with.
