I also had the same problem. Previously It was OK when I hard formatted my 6600 (by keeping Green, 3 and * keys pressed and switching on the phone from OFF state).
I am afraid, after like 10 months, this problem is back again, and, this time...... its not going away after even the hard format. May be you can try it.... It worked the first time for me dude.

Hi, Backup your contacts (by writing down in paper) and format your memory card completely in any computer using card reader. Then give your mobile for a flash in a mobile service center and that should costs you very low only.
Now save your contacts back and be careful in using memory card as this is the only way virus can affect your mobile.
ur set must be old. actually ur joystick needs a cleaning. it might be due to lot of dust.. but there r more chances tht u will have to get ur joystick replaced. it is a common problem in nokia 6600. mine 6600 down joystick was inactive and when it was active it moved thre 4 times all together. so i got it replaced.. pls rate

u can edit setting of your device.the setting is MY PHONE'S VISIBILITY turn it to HIDDEN.when uwany to recieve data bluetooth turn it to shown to all.and after use turn it to HIDDEN .it will help try it.
