Question about Lexmark X4270 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Hello, My basic understanding of this error is your printer has stalled for one or more reasons. first i would do the basics. Check for paper jams, turn the unit off and unplug it all. Let it sit a moment. Replug it all and restart. Clear any queued print jobs. Make sure it is set to work offline, in settings. If this does not correct the issue, try an uninstall. You must completely uninstall it. Now using your original disc reinstall it and see if this corrects the issue. It could also be a jam in the cartridge itself. I have heard the spring under the caartridges is prone in these models to occasionally come off. It can be fixed but involoves some very fiddly stuff and exposed wires. If you are still able to change the cartridges in and out thwn it will not be this issue. Do try and rule it out by pretending to change the csartridge. Open unit as if you were to do this and the cartridge pad should roll over to allow access. If it does not and you cannot change the cartridge then it may be this spring loose. Post back to get more help. Good luck.
