SOURCE: change rear break pads on 2000 Buick. Cannot

There's a special tool required to compress the rear caliper pistons. You may want to rent the tool. If you look at the piston you'll see one or two notches. The special tool has nipples to fit these notches. The caliper piston will have to be compressed with the tool and the notches will have to be placed in the o'clock and 6 o'clock for the brake pads to slide over the rotor. If you rent the special tool have the renter show you how to use it.

Its go between jar and cutter,or maybe the jar is cross thread. You need to make sure that the jar is sitting even on the screw base.

SOURCE: When trying to set up my telescope, in home

I assume you have tightened the DEC knob on the side of the fork.

Then the gears are not engaging properly inside the forkarm. The scope will need to be disassembled to fix it. Go to the "Mighty ETX" web site and start reading the posts on the ETX80.

The machine may not handle compressed board well. If it works well with othe stock, the answer may be to stop trying to cut it. I know with my manual paper cutters some material does not cut well.

A17-209 error message

A-17-209 is a cutter error meaning the cutter is not at home position when master material is in place. The cutter can be manually slide towards front of machine or another way is to rerolled master paper back on to its roll and close the clamp. This will cause the cutter, if operational, to re-home itself correctly. There are test codes to operate cutter to check it (480).

What is a rotary paper cutter?

This is a cutter with a wheel-like blade that comes on a rail you can slide along. This lets you make cuts that are wavy or perforations. These are usually used at home becuase they are safer as the blade is wheel-like and not like a knife.

How do i change the blades

Disconnect the planer's power cord, then use the T-wrench that comes with the planer to remove the four screws that secure the top of the planer. Lift the top to remove it from the planer.
Remove the three wing nuts holding the dust cover over the cutter head. Rotate the dust cover up to unlock it from the fan housing, then push the cover to the left to disconnect it. Remove the dust cover from the planer to expose the cutter head.
Rotate the cutter head with a piece of scrap wood until the lock on the side of the cutter head engages. All eight screws in the cutter head clamp should now be visible. Remove the screws using the T-wrench, then turn the T-wrench upside down and use the magnet in the head of the T-wrench to grab the clamp. Remove the clamp to expose the knife underneath. Use the magnet to remove the knife.

Press down on the cutter head lock to free the cutter head. Use some scrap wood to turn the cutter head for access to the remaining two knives. Follow the instructions in Steps 3 and 4 to remove and replace those knives.

Canon ipf8100 says "cannot cut paper"

go to menu-maintenance-replace cutter-check at the lower left position of the carriage if the knife is on (you can also check the display for instructions).
If the knife is on the carriage then you must replace it, if the knife is missing then you will find it at the left side inside of the machine.
This is happening because the carriage is moving left to enable knife to cutting position, and sometimes the knife is going off his position.
Take a better look inside the left side of the machine

Error message

Problem: The Printer does not detect the home position of the cutter during initialization.
Either there is a scrap piece of paper obstructing the path of the carriage that houses the cutter blade or there has been an impact on the lower side of the printer causing a bend in the metal that holds the home switch. This switch will trigger a sensor telling the printer that the cutter has reached the home position(right side)

Solution:Remove the paper scrap or Remove the door panel and check for damage on the right side of the cutter blade path and bend the metal piece to realign the switch so that the plastic carriage makes contact when reaching the right side.
