Hi is there a connector for a Sony CDX car stereo & a Mazda Protege? Hoping you can help

If you are asking if there is a interface plug to allow you to install a Sony deck into your Protege. Yes there is, any good quality car audio shop in your area should have one, or be able to get one for you and assist you in installing it.

Where can I get/download a manual for the Sony Xplod 52wx4 car radio

Sony's web site will provide a free owner's manual download, but you'll have to find out the model number. It should be printed on the faceplate, and will probably start with "CDX". Sony has used "Xplod" for their car audio line for at least the last 10 years, and 52x4 is a pretty common power rating for them, too; so you'll need more specific information before you start searching.

Once you find your model number, here's the link: http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/select-system.pl?DIRECTOR=DOCS

What do i need to install a subwoofer

Here's what you need:

1) An enclosure for the 8" subwoofer.
2) 8" subwoofer.
3) Amplifier to power the sub.
4) Amp wiring kit.

Your Sony has two sets of preamp outputs so make sure that your wiring kit includes a set of RCA's.
