My model number 91965110 compressor runs but won't fill the tank

More then likely it is either in the valve plate (bad flapper valve or gasket) or the piston and sleeve have worn out which is usually from scoring. You will see that when you take the head off to inspect.

It sounds like a bad gasket. Either the one between the valve plates or the one between the head and top valve plate. The top gasket is the most common one that fails. If the middle of the gasket is broken, where it separates the intake from the exhaust, you will get symptoms just as you described. Will only build up a small amount of pressure. Here is a link to look at the parts diagram and to order parts from.

I have a Craftsman compressor Model # 919-15292 2. The compressor stopped building pressure because air was continually being released through the unloader valve. I have replaced the unloader valve,...

you must have wired the new pressure switch incorrectly .when the pressure switch opens it will release the head pressure so your compressor must be running with the pressure switch contacts open should be 4 connections 2 marked motor which is from your compressor and 2 marked line which is your power coming in

I have a dewalt air compressor model d55155 will not bulte up any presure changed the cold start valve and the reed valves but not the reed valve plates it seemes like like now i have air coming out the...

If you have oil coming out of the oil fill and dip stick you most likely installed the reed plate upside down. Usually it says this side up or there is an arrow pointing up on the reed plate.
This is a good sketch of compressor and reed valve assy.

Usually the reeds are on top of the plate facing downward. If you have just a reed disc.. then the disc will need to be inverted.

Thanks for Choosing FixYa.

Check valve

I have replaced countless checkvalves that were stuck open due to debris produced/ejected by the compressor. Most frequent problem was carbon deposits due to wrong type of oil in compessor. The carbon deposits form inside head and discharge hose. All carbon must be cleaned from head and hose when new checkvalve is installed. Use synthetic oil in compressor to prevent carbon deposit. Leaky valves and gaskets in the pump will also casue problems because this greatly increases the air temp discharged from the compressor. I use checkvalves pruchased from www.grainger.com. and not the sears valve. Good Luck

No air pressure

Think I already answered this for a Craftsman 1.5 pancake, or was referred to as horizontal, was that you ? If not then put in a search for your brand and hp and type of compressor and go to the web page for it and scroll down looking for the owners manual which will have an exploded view of the compressor dissasembled for parts identification but you should be able to see what you need to know. It's probably an Adobe file download.
