Question about Dell Dimension 3000 PC Desktop
If you think the printer is still functional, go to the Control Panel, then Printers and Faxes.
Check to see if that printer is designated as the default printer; if not, reset it to default.
If it is set properly, highlight and delete the printer.
With the printer on and connected, reboot your PC. Windows should 'find' 'new' hardware and reinstall a fresh copy of the driver for it.
MicroSoft loves having Windows corrupt the drivers now and then so we have something to do . . .
