From almost day one our washer has excessive vibration. We had Sears out and they couldn't do much about it. They are on the pedestals, not sure if that is causing the problem? All we ever hear is how great this washer is, but the vibration is driving us crazy. HELP!
I have had my LG washer since Feb 09 from day one it has been a problem it is not on a pedestal it is on concrete floor all legs are leveled and it still vibrates out of control I have tried placing it on slates, bricks, boards, etc. it still does not help it moves across the floor so rapidly that it has almost pulled the hose out of the wall this is this is exceptable and the store that I purchased from is telling me to call LG whom will not do anything about it.
Please help I don't know what else to do but contact the BBB but I'm not sure if it should be on the store that I purchased or the LG company

All washers have to be level if you have excessive vibration then adjust from the bottom. i usually take a level and check from the top. If that dosent work let me know. You might have a different problem Hope it helps
should be 2 screws in the control panel ,some panels you need to remove the end caps to remove them, then just flip the control panel back it has plastic hinges so be careful, then you unplug the lid switch, pop off the 2 gold clips holding the back panel to the housing.then just reach inside the lid tilt slightly towards you and lift off the frame.
sounds like damper rods are getting worn. they support bowl underneath.i think if u change them it should fix problem. is it noisy during spin?if u need more help please reply. please turn power off b4 working on it do not want any accidents.
Yes, look into trading in the Kenmore for one of only two manufacturers that employ a dynamic balance system built into the washer drum. Samsung and LG both use this dynamic balance system that balances the load while it is in motion. They also use a vibration sensing system to modify the time and speed of the spin cycles to minimize any vibration that might still be present. LG has this available on only their upper level models while Samsung's VRT is available on most all models. I believe that both of these manufacturer's are available from Sears.
