How to download movies

To watch a downloaded movie, clip or any other video on your PSP, you need to:

1. Get your video converted to MP4 format. PSP supports MP4 and .H264 (MP4 part 10, AAC).

There are many free programs that convert your videos into the MP4 format that your PSP likes.
2. Please ensure to set audio frequency to 24000Hz (24Khz). If you set it to 48Khz PSP will not play saying "unsupported data".
3. Transfer it to your PSP and Enjoy!
There is a complete guide, with free video for download at:

Good luck and thank you for using FixYa! We would sure appreciate a 4 "thumbs-up" rating for this FREE answer. Happy holidays!

Video problems

maybe video format is not compatiable with PSP. I heard this video converter converts video files, YouTube videos, movies so you can play them on your PSP. The software can convert all types of video files (avi, divx, xvid, flv, x264, vob, mpeg, YouTube, etc.) into the proper video formats (MPEG-4, H.264) that play on the PSP.

Can't download the videos of my psp

you need to make sure the videos are in the right format for the psp to play them. The PsP uses h.264 format to play media files. You can google what converting software is out there to purchase to get the videos in this format,,, there are alot of different software out there for use. Most cost between 30-50 bucks... Once you get the software and convert the video to the correct format load it into your movies folder and you are set to go .. hope this helps

How can I download video files from my PC into my PSP?

First of all make sure that the movies you want to transfer are of the Mpeg4 format. For info on how to convert different files into the correct format follow this link : www.memorystick.com/psp Choose the movie icon from the main menu, insert a UMD or a Memory Stick Duo, a new icon will show up. Choose the icon and press the X button. The movie should now play. In order to download the movie into the Memory Stick Duo you have 3 options: 1. use a computer with a Memory Stick slot. 2. use a compatible USB cable. 3. use an external Memory Stick reader with a USB connection. Note that the PSP cannot read files converted in a rate higher then 768 KBPS. Good luck
