Question about Lexmark Wheelwriter 1000 Typewriter
My Lexmark Wheelwriter 1000 has a 10 pt printwheel installed, but the character spacing is still 12 pt. There's too much space between the characters. Is there a setting to change on the typewriter someplace? Thanks.
Some type styles do have thinner print than others. The pitch is automaticly selected when you change printwheels. You can measure the pitch by printing 12 letter "i" and putting a ruler up to it.
12 spaces per inch is elite and 10 is pica.
