Two things to try
1) Go to C:\ right click to properties / Tools / Error check click it new box tick little box to fix errors and reboot.Windows will scan disk and fix any errors
2) Go to Start / Run / type in box "msconfig" then press enter new box pop up go to startup and stop all programs from running except for anti virus and firewall.
Dont worry the programs you stop can be started in the normal way

The problem with computer freezes is you either have to many programs running or a running program clashes with another. Doing this will free up a lot of memory to stop this

Resolve Error Code: C7 on SuperMicro Server

First check the OS compatibility for you motherboard here:
http://www.supermicro.com/support/faqs/os.cfm

Then, if compatible, check the IDE/SATA setting. Change the hard drive controller settings from IDE to AHCI or vice versa to see if the OS kernel panics on boot. If that does not work, please reply with your OS version and motherboard model.

How do i make my supermicro X6DAL-B2 motherboard more compatable with windows 7?

Sounds like you need to go to the manufactures website and download the latest drivers. I would do this for the motherboard and any equipment plugged into it (soundcard, graphics adapter, monitor, printer). Update everything. Then you might also trying cleaning up things. For example: how full is the recycle bin? When was the last time you defragged the harddrive? How much stuff do you have running in the background? Is windows up to date? When was the last virus/malware scan done and is the software upto date? All these things should be looked at.

Hope this helps

Supermicro x8sax memory bank issues

The X8SAX motherboard has 6 memory slots. Try booting with one memory stick in each slot to identify which memory bank (dimm slot) is giving you issues. If you are able to boot off of a good slot, check the BIOS version to make sure you have the latest installed (R 2.0b). It can be downloaded here: Super Micro Computer Inc Products Motherboards Xeon Boards X8SAX

If you are unable to get into the BIOS at all, check the warranty status and submit an RMA request to Supermicro:

PC locks up at Supermicro splash screen during warm boot

Check for a post error in the bottom right of the display. It will be 2 letters or numbers. You can refer to the manual to see what the exact issue is:

However, the most likely culprit is RAM. I would try booting with 1 stick (and try all 4 dim slots) to see isolate the issue.

How i solve supermicro x8dt3-f display problem

Make sure JPG1 is jumpered between pins one and two.
Pin 1 is on the left.
JPG1 is on the very bottom of the motherboard, near the end of the PCI slot.
Next go to Advanced Setup Configuration if you can get any video, and check Boot Graphics Adapter Priority.
Make sure it is set to Onboard VGA.
If no video, reset the BIOS.
Onboard VGA is the default.

Have a supermicro x6dal-tb2 motherboard, upgraded to windows 7. Can't find drivers for the Sata Raid controller. Help?

That driver will be issued by the RAID card manufacturer. If this is a software RAID controlled by the motherboard, your only hope is the latest BIOS firmware R1.0c:
