Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

My inspiron 1501 has been running exstremely slow (internet and the actual computer itself)

Hi hrd0013...
Do some cleanup on your computer to see if it runs faster.
Do a disk clean and a disk defragment
Add more memory or a programs that "recycles" your ram like the following FREE program: http://download.cnet.com/Free-Ram-Optimizer-XP/3000-2086_4-10238479.html?tag=mncol;1

1...Disk cleanup...Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Disc Clean-up
2...Disk Defragment (Hard Drive )...Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Disk deframenter
3...Get rid of any unused programs, files, pictures etc..
Your machine should speed up if you do the above.

When I turn on my emachines t3265 desktop computer, it freezes at the logo, and does not proceed to Windows so I can log on. What is the likely problem, and how can I fix it?

Turn it on.
Hit the ESCAPE (or TAB) key to replace that colourful logo with the technical details of the computer's POST (Power On Self Test) messages. Look for any messages, such as "unable to boot from disk drive" or "disk-drive not detected". Also, remove any CD/DVD media from the CD/DVD drive. Also, remove any 3.5-inch diskette, and disconnect any USB memory-sticks BEFORE you turn it on.

I have a acer laptop with pre loaded 64 bit windows 7 OS. Now i want to make a partition on my hard disc. Pl. guide me on how to make partition

From start go to control panel > administrative tools > computer management > disk management, then right click your drive and select "shrink volume". From the resulting unallocated space, right click it and select "new simple volume". It's best to defrag the drive first: start > all programs > accessories > system tools > disk deframenter.

Geforce 7150m/nforce630m

Click start and then all programs
Then click on accessories and then system tools
Run both the disc cleanup and deframenter
Make sure to empty the recycle bin after the clean up
If that does not help then you may want to upgrade your RAM or video card
