You can pop of the agitaor ( held on by a 7/16 screw to the the inner tub will lift right out, it merely rests upon the spline, youll need to "pop" the main top first by "popping hte release clips. approximately 6 inches form either side between the main lid and the front panel are the clips, use a sturdy putty knife as these are tough to undo, the outer tub ring then simply unsnaps off and youll be able to remove the inner basket with no problem.

Whirlpool cabrio dryers makes loud squealing noises and I replaced rollers. What else could this be please?

Did you replace the belt tensioner wheel? That's what it usually is. The only other place is where the front of the drum sits on some nylon bushings or ring. Make sure nothing has come out of pockets like a screw or coin and stuck there, or nylon bushing missing. The back of the drum also has a felt that items can stick to.

Washer Repair Boise - Whirlpool Cabrio Pump

I've replace many pumps on the whirlpool Cabrio and most of these washer pump failures could have been prevented by removing coins from pockets. Many times coins will make there way to the outer tub and get sucked right into the pump to create a rattling sound. That rattling sound you hear is the impeller spinning against the coin. Since the impeller is plastic, it doesn't take long for the impeller to wear down. Just a tip, please remove coins from pockets. You'll save money and time :->.

My wife washed my pants w/o taking the four dollars in quarters out of my pocket. i think there is a considerable amount of change in the bottom of my washer. will this impact the efficiency of my washer...

Its almost a guarantee that the quarters will get down into either your recirculating pump or your drain pump and damage them. I would try to get a tech out and have him separate the inner and outer drum. This will save you a lot more money than replacing a pump they are not cheap. Its fairly simple to separate the drums just pop the top with a putty knife. Pop the cap off the agitator and remove the bolts. pull up and the tubs should separate. Hope this helps.

My Whirlpool Cabrio washer has some coins trapped in the inside of the machine. I need to find out how to remove the agitator to check inside for more coins.

They are not in your agitator. they are in the pump on the bottom left if you are standing behind the machine. Be VERY careful. That litle pump seems to be the beginnig of many leaking problems.

Trying to get top of cabrio washer to pull tub I have coins between drum and tub. How do you get top disconnected

There are two retention clips along the front located about 4-5 inches from each corner. After you get the top up, you will have to pop off the little cover that will reveal the agitator bolt. After removing the bolt, you can pull the agitator and the entire drum (take off top water flow thing as well). I pulled about $1.96 out of the bottom of mine but also had to pull the drain pump to get change out of it as well. For the person that said his washer made a noise during the spin cycle and thought it was a bearing, I would look for change behind the drum and in the pump first.

Washer doesn't drain just buzzes

Most likely you have a coin stuck in the drain pump. Mine did the same thing, and we removed the drain pump, then removed the coin and it began working again. Just be sure to check all pockets for coins as this is a big problem with the Cabrio washers.

Sounds like there is a marble or coin in drum

remove the heater which is held by 1 19mm nut in the centre and prize out carefully with a screwdriver. you can then see the gap between the drum and the tub and fish out whatever is in there. a common problem
