The Audio driver has little to do with the OS (Operating System- windows) It is a board fixture or a hardware addition, and therefore requires teh drivers as supplied by the manufacturer of the equipment. Find out the name of the component or the motherboard and either google it for its drivers or go to the manufactures website and look under support for the drivers you need.
By the way, its not very clever to make abreviations in two letter words!
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

First uninstall driver and software from add remove program. Then install chipset driver>>then run sound driver setup>>when it will ask for driver search click cancel after the installation process restart computer.
there is a trick of installing hd audio.Remove all the drivers. First install the patch of winxpsp2 , it should be in ur driver cd somewhere in audio folder. then remove it. Again install it and then install sound driver and all other drivers. It will definitely work.
if your sound card is in-built try installing from the motherboard cd you got..if then also it says some problem then try for the driver software in internet then too problem continues try installing the OS again..

Once all the installation and restarting are done your Audio will work with out any issues

Let's start by removing all of the other audio drivers. After, reboot your laptop and install only the audio driver from the cd. After doing so, if the problem continues, then you may want to try repairing your windows system files - given that you have the installation cd that came with your laptop.
Hope this answers your question and that it helps.
Why because some audio drivers may not be properly installed even it is installed from the motherboard drivers. why because some Bios doesnt allow this. only solution to solve this issue. Try downloading latest driver for your sound card model. thank you !
installing same drivers from product cd-rom does not clear the driver issues. why because Bios does not support same driver re install in case of audio. this is normal. Download latest updated driver for your sound card model. thank you !
