HP 2605dn- replaced all toner cartridges now it won't print-
Printer says it is "Printing document" but will not print. All computers networked to this print have the same problem. Tried changing back to the old toner cartridges and it didn't change anything. Shut off printer for 10 minutes, still same problem. No paper jam found. Help please!
Re: HP 2605dn- replaced all toner cartridges now it won't...
There might be a problem with the network connection. Is the cable connected to the back of the printer?
The printer could have lost the connection.
If the printer is able to print a configuration page and if the display responds to comands from the buttons in the display panel there is a very good chance the network connection was lost.
Yo mentioned "paper jam" is the printer identifying a paper jam?

Run the 1/2 print test. Print a few pages that have failed previously and as the printer is printing open the cartridge cover(top cover). Pull out the cartridge and look at the paper down below. If the page looks good, you probably need a new fuser. If the page is messed up you could have a bad transfer roller or another bad toner cartridge.
That problem is frequently on HP 2600 series.
You must try to change all remanufactured toner cartridges with HP OEM with no exception, the best alignment it is when you change the black cartridge and the printer make a cleaning page process. Cartridge HP OEM should be almoust empty. It Is not necesarry to be a new one. After the alignment process, you can put the remanufacturated cartridges back on.
This was work for me. 100%
Two parts of the printer can affect this.
1) the toner cartridge
2) the fuser
Testing can be done to determine the problematic part.
Do a print using manual feed. Once the last bit of paper goes into the machine, open the printer door.
Remove the toner to check if smudge is there.
Replace toner cartridge if there is smudge, replace fuser it not.
Check the Colour management in printer driver on the computer - set this to Automatic.
On the printer or The HP ToolboxFX, check to see if Economode is turned on (under Print Quality) which reduces the print quality.
I had this same problem, and after 45 minutes with
HP support, eventually managed to get it to print by turning the
printer of and then holding down both arrow keys (left and right) at
the same time while turning the printer back on. I held down the arrow
keys until it said "Language: English" and then clicked through the
prompts. It then restarted, and all was well again. Other places mention doing this with the OK and Cancel keys, but that didn't do it for me - the arrow keys did.
