I myself resolved this issue. I removed slowly the parts of spilit AC and found bunch of dirty was blocking the hole, where the water drains usually. Then removed it and solved. Saved a huge amount. The service men would told something else and cheated by charging it with bla bla bla spare parts failure..:)

SOURCE: WATER LEAKING FROM MY SPLIT TYPE LG AIRCON

1. Do not set the aircon too low temperature in overcast weather, this will cause ice ups and water dripping. Optimal comfort zone temperature is 24c.
2. You need to open the grill cover on the front of the aircon which unclips either end left and right with a finger pressure. You will find two filters which can slide out and should be cleaned. First tap them together to remove dust, then you can wash them with mild soap and cold water.
3. There is the third possibility that an insect has made a nest in the drainpipe. You should look on the outside of the building and locate a plastic drainpipe. You can either blow into this pipe with your mouth or get a blower. This will unblock any restriction in the drainpipe.
Goodluck and ratemeplease.

SOURCE: leaking water from inside samsung split sytem

if your indoor unit is leaking water down the wall,it is from one of two things.First, is possibly the insulkation on the copper lines is coming loose and the suction line is condesated, with no way to drain,it drips down the unit. The other possiblity is that the drain hose is coming loose from vibration and leaking a little.

SOURCE: SANYO SPLIT TYPE AIR CONDITIONER LEAKING

The leakage is probably from condensation and there should be some sort of drain for it. You should check to see if it is clogged or partially clogged. Also since you say it does it when it hasn't operated for a while you may want to check out where the lines pass through the wall and make sure that it is sealed up there so you don't get leakage from out side.

SOURCE: split a/c leaking from inside

You have an obstruction in your condensate drain. After a couple years of use a slime builds up in the trap and needs to be cleaned out.

Why does the motor overheat and looses water

You have a leak somewhere is the obvious answer, the hard part is finding the leak, it could be a hole in the rad or a split in a hose somewhere, I suggest you drive the car for 15 mins, park it up, pop the hood/bonnet and see if you can see a leak, then look under the engine ( on the floor ) and see if there are any leaks on the floor. you can get solutions you put in the radiator to fix radiator leaks, but a hose, could burst and cause a massive engine failure, hoses need to be replaced.

My lg washer appears to be leaking from the soap tray area, what needs to be replaced and how?

The hose from the soap drawer to the tub may be split. These hose have flexible ridges and its common for them to split inside one of the ridges.

2002 ford taurus. Radiator overflows but, temp gauge not hot.

It could be both your thermostat and water pump, it could also be an air lock in your cooling system. One way or another, I think pressure is building up in part of the system because its not circulating properly.

When its cool, take the top off your reservoir, give the bottom hose to your radiator a good few squeezes, see if the water goes down a little, if it does, you moved something on and probably cured it.

If not, run the engine up, to get it warm and bleed off any air in the system. (Assuming there are bleed taps in the system)

If that also does nothing, I reckon its your water pump. And if your changing that, I'd suggest changing the thermostat at the same time.

I have whirlpool refrigerator. it is a frost free double door model. Recently I have found water is dripping from the top of the fridge portion. It directle falls on the vegetable drawer and water is...

It is over charged with gas. but that will probably leak out again in a few months don't worry. The leaking water are most probably because the drain hole inside the refrigerator is blocked with algae growth.
