Question about Ovens
Both elements in the top grill and main oven appear to be working fine. The top oven only has an element setting control and temperature control which work no problem. Similarly the element in the main oven works also.
But most/possibly all of the other features of the main oven are not working. For a start I am not sure what all the setting on the control for the main oven mean, from my deductions, I can say that I think the main fan inside the main oven is not working, and another thing the light in the main oven has never worked either. Also, i think there is a cooler fan just on the front end inside of the main oven which is working on the first setting of the main oven.
Can anybody help? At the moment I just have 2 grills.

SOURCE: Grill faulty on my double oven
HI there the top oven and the bottom oven have separate thermostats that is why you are having this problems because the bottom oven thermostat has failed thus making it not regulate the heat. to repair this you need a new thermostat regulator i hope this has helped you noffie....

Step 1: Check the power cord, the plug, and the outlet. Then look for blown fuses or tripped circuit breakers at the main entrance panel or at a separate panel.
Step 2: If the range is receiving power, set the timer on the range to the MANUAL position.
Step 3: If the element still doesn't heat, turn off the power to the range and test it with a VOM set to the RX1 scale thank u................

Ther are a couple of possibilities that could be causing your problem.
A thing called the safety stat could be cutting the oven out, it is designed to cut off the oven in the case of overheating This is what brings on the cooling fan. Sometimes they cut out prematurly for example you may not have enough vetilation, check for restricted or blocked vents.
The stat itself could be faulty again causing the oven to cut out,and then as it cools down it resets itself and so on and so on.
The thing to do after you hve checked evrything else is toichange the stat.
It is usually located on the top of the outer oven compartment, it is about 1" or so long with a feed in and out of it
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks, and merry xmas.
