Pc sound problem

Hi i wrote to recntly about the sound on my pc.you said it sounded like driver error.and to go to device maneger i did that but counld not find the sound driver.but i no sound is there.iv been told that if i uninstall this to reinstall the sound driver that i would need a disk is this truecos if so i dont have one.im not a computer wiz can you help me please thank you miss davies

If you found the device manager, you are half way there. Look down the list of hardware installed in the computer. Most of them should have a + in front of them. Chances are you will find an odd listing possible under the heading of unknown devices. It may list the device with the maker of the sound card or it may just say something generic. If this is a name brand computer, you should be able to go to the company’s website and look up the system drivers. If it is a custom built computer or the audio card has been upgraded, you will need to find the id of the card on the card itself. If the sound card is an onboard sound card, which is it is part of the motherboard. If the sound card is still not listed in the device manager, the sound card may be turned off in the bios.

Hello miss davies. that is true but unfortunately you dont have the cd driver or the disk sound driver for your computer. if you can give me the exact model of your motherboard maybe i can provide you with that. i will help you with your problem.

I lost sound on my computer


Hi Jereld,

Please try to play any audio file in windows media player ,and look for what type of error you are getting.if its getting any device error please try to reinstall the Sound driver from system manufacture website.if it playing the file without any errors check the audio device and the sound settings.

have you check the control panel,on the sound device,click sound audio device,on click audio,if volume appear click if the mute box have check,uncheck it,if no volume appear check on system,device maneger,on devices check your sound,audio devices,click properties,if no driver reinstall your driver from your
mother board cd or if your have external audio devices install cd installer to have a driver on your sound devices.if no installer go to internet searches box type the brand and model of sound devices and down load your driver its free.besure your sound device was configured by your computer in order to put back your sound system.hope this will a great help foryou,regard and have a nice day.

have you check driver of the dvd room,on control panel click,click system,click hardware,click device manager,on device maneger click cd/dvd coom,then left click your cd room,click properties check driver,if no driver update,or if you have cd installer

I formatted after a virus, software cd is missing. drivers are ok, how do I turn it on? where do I click? no icon anywhere...

No Sound

check your sound device on control panel if there configure device,if no device check your sound device driver,you can see this on your device manager,also on control panel,go to system click it,on system properties click your harware,go to device maneger,on sound video click propeties,if no driver up date sound driver.or have installed on mother board cd installer,if there sound driver on your system,if you have the sound device check the volume, adjust volume and check if mute was activated,deactivate,on voice box check your test voice harware you can hear also,adjust the volume,if still no sound you may have an hardware problem if this a built in device,take this on service center hwere you buy this staff with warranty papers.they will arrange this for you.have a nice day,don't forget to rate me,thanks,

have you ever check the driver of your sound card if there a sound card device on you system. try to check this on control panelc click system, then click harware,on hardware click device maneger,check your soud device click properties
if was configured,if no driver update your driver on website,you can down load sound driver on website just the brand on internet and it will find it for you.after you get driver install it,test your sound device on control panel again click sound device check voice.have a nice day and don't forget to rate me,thank's

Volume Control stopped working

Gemini 2.5" External Hard Drive sir this device detected but start. in device maneger it will shows "This device cnanot start error code 10"


There is problem in the driver of your USB.. try updating the driver of your USB.. Know the model of your motherboard search the model of your motherboard in the internet and look for that motherboard model USB driver.. if you find the driver make sure it is latest it has to be a date release... TY
