Sounds like you have reset your IMEI number. you can check this by dialing *#06#. If its all 0's then you'll need to re-enter one which i believe can only be done with a box. I'm also looking for a way to do this without a box but so far no luck on that frount.

How to Unblock Network lock of SAMSUNG SGH-J700

SAMSUNG SGH-J700 UNLOCKING:
1- Power on pone ,, type : *#7465625#
you will identify which code is active , which is inactive
2- Remove battery ,, Put your sim card , not all of it ,, just to prepare it to be full inserted , put your battery back and power on pone ,, you must see " insert sim" not "invalid sim.."

SAMSUNG J700 SIM UNLOCK CODE

It's required to contact the telecom service provider or SIM vendor to get the PUK code or SIM unlock code for no cost. It's required to provide information about the 16 digit serial # printed on the SIM card to get the PUK code.

NEED PUK NUBER

Puk code, personal unlocking key. It is sim card related / spesific, if you take the sim card out from the phone, the phone will work with another sim card.

The puk comes up when the pin code has been entered wrong 3 times. To get the puk code for your sim card, you have to call the service provider of that sim card. They are the only ones who can provide you with the right puk code for that sim card.

My sim doesnt work in my j700 what can i do?

make sure that the phoneis already unlocked so that you can use your sim card to the phone. Might as well call your service provider for this, or call the original network provider of the phone.

Hi there my son has a samsung j700 and needs a puk code for it please can u help?

PUK is a code used to unlock a sim card if it has been blocked by entering incorrect PIN numbers. The codes are usually supplied with the sim card. If you don't have the original sim packaging or codes you have to get your puk codes from your service provider.
