Question about Panasonic Televison & Video

1 Answer

I have a 65" Panasonic plasma tv model TH65PZ800B. It is the latest model and it is 3 weeks old. It is hung on the wall. The noise from the cooling fans is overpowering. I am going to exchange it for a pioneer 6090. Does anyone have an email address for Panasonic UK where I can correspond with someone technical to voice my concerns. The Panasonic web site is not set up to handle complaints.

This should take you to the page you need. If not pick the global icon on panasonic.com and the various country/location qualifiers....you will be close then...just a matter of ID of issue....suggest you use general question choice....it looks like the are giving you a manual download link (they are) but please read the info below that for your contact methods.

How to fix plasma Panasonic Tv no picture just sound

Could also be the power supply board.

If you don't know what you're doing, DON'T OPEN THE TV UP TO FIX IT, THERE ARE HAZARDOUS VOLTAGES ON THE POWER SUPPLY BOARD, EVEN WEEKS AFTER THE TV IS UNPLUGGED!

If you don't know how to do it yourself, find some local Electronic repair shops, get quotes, try to find reviews on the shops.

Pls tell me the watt for tv model th-65 pv 500m

The closest thing I can find to your plasma TV is the Viera 65-in model TX-P65VT20E, which consumes 635 Watts. This should be close to the power budget for your unit.

I have a Panasonic Viera 65" P65S2. After a month and a week the tv shut off, and when i tried to turn it on all i got was 7 blinking lights. I contacted Panasonic and a service tech was sent out to...

I agree, this is not a good thing. A brand new TV should not fail 5 weeks into its life. Unfortunately, since the store won't take it back, you're stuck dealing with Panasonic's warranty group.

Having to wait 2 - 3 weeks for a part is crazy - I agree even more. Have you contacted Panasonic Service supervisors / managers and *politely* however firmly, expressed your displeasure with the quality and service you are receiving? Ask for the supervisor's name and to talk with that person. Go as far "up" as you're willing to go, but ultimately, Panasonic must be allowed to solve the problem within the warranty period.

It might be hard to accept this time, but next time - think back on this experience you had with this Panasonic TV. Be sure to tell the supervisors / managers how unhappy you are and that you have friends looking to buy TVs - and they have been asking about what happened to yours. Tell them you'd like to tell them how great Panasonic was with this problem for you - not how a week old TV died and parts were 2- 3 weeks away.

Good luck!

How do I wall mount the 65" TV. There are no instructions in the manual provided with the TV

You can buy a universal wall mount the will fit on that 65" plasma that comes with all necesary hardware and instructions to mount the TV to the wall. Now that 65" tv is really heavy so it needs good anchors to support the weight of the display.

Everytime I use hdmi the colours are mostly green

I have a panasonic th42pa 60a SD plasma and I get the same problem WHEN USING CERTAIN HDMI cables. I had a connexa brand with my samsung stb that i got with the TV and I had no problems., but i had to replace that because one of the ends "frayed" when it was accidently yanked out of the tv socket. A high quality monster cable did the same green screen you describe. The cheapest "Crest" from Big W that did HDMI standard 1b worked fine, but a Rank Arena from Target did not. So buy the cheapest HDMI 1b cable you can, the picture quality and sound is the same as the more expensive stuff. BTW I tried a HDMI 3 way splitter as well and it did the same green screen thing, but it worked on a later model panasonic plasma. I think it is Pana's poor HDMI implementation.

Tv making clicking noise while I am watching

Hello everyone,

I bought the model TH-50PX60U June of 2007. I've been hearing the very annoying clicking noise as well.

Since the TV has a one year warranty, I just called Panasonic and they've scheduled a tech to come over and take a look at it three days from now.

I will publish the results on the same page.
