Try cleaning out the condenser coil with long reach brush. It is underneath the doors behind the grill. Also make sure the condenser and evaporator motors are running.

Whirlpool American fridge freezer FRSB36AF20/2 Triangle Warning light on and freezer not freezing. Fridge ok

Most common these symptoms point to a unit low on freon. The fridge gets its cold air from the freezer. So there is just enough freon for a good fridge temp but not to freeze water in the freezer.
Second would be the coils froze over due to the defrost circuit not working. Also check the conderser fan in the freezer. The cooling fan in the back bottom, if there is one, may have quit also.

Fridge warm and freeze cold

Rachael, I recently had a similar issue. Unfortunately, the problem you describe could be related to several components & sensors that could have failed which cause similar symptoms. There are a few things that you will need to start with in order to best lead you in the best direction for repair. First, ice building up says that there may be a problem with the auto defrost cycle. Usually a sensor that sits on the evaporator in the freezer side. You want to start with actually measuring the temp in the freezer and the fridge. If you can, remove items, turn fridge off & then unplug fridge from outlet. Let sit overnight with doors open. Two goals, here. One, ensuring that any ice that has formed in the air passages has a chance to melt completely. Second, unplugging the fridge helps "reset" the control module. You stated "hearing the motor" working. Do you mean the compressor or the fan in the fridge. IMPORTANT, you need to make sure that when the fridge is "running" that you can feel air blowing in the freezer & fridge section. Do this before turning off & unplugging. Lastly for now, did anything out of the ordinary happen before you noticed improper operation?

I have a sharp fridge SJ-P49N-SL. A recent power outtage in the area lasted 8 hours. When the power came back on, the fridge seemed to be ok. But, after 5-6 hours of operation, the freezer is not cold...

Checked Freezer Fan is working. Also checked defrost Fuse in freezer.
To checked freezer fan is working or not open freezer door press Door Switch and checked Cold air is coming from duct or not.

Fridge is freezing

Hello,

My fridge is freezing things: Most times this is a bad cold control, but there are other things to check for. Make sure the condenser fan is working and the coils are not covered with dust. A separated heat exchanger ( small capillary tubing soldered to the large suction line ) can separate from one another and make the fridge run too long. - tape tubing back together. A poor working evaporator fan motor could also make the fridge run too long and freeze - replace the fan motor. An inefficient compressor or refrigeration system could make the fridge run too long and freeze - have a service tech check this out. A misaligned control settings, make sure the air damper and cold control have not been bumped and are out of normal settings. Stuck open air diffusers or air dampers are becoming more and more common for allowing too much air to be blown into the fresh food section and freezing things. On all frost free fridge's the freezer temp air is blown into the fresh food section, if you have "easy" to freeze items ( eggs, veggies in water, etc ) in front of or under where the freezer temp air comes out, they could freeze - store them in a different spot. Doors not closing properly making the fridge run too long is something else to check for.
A tip from Gerard in Georgia: My Sears ( Frigidare built ) refrigerator suddenly started freezing thing in the refrigerator compartment. I started to replace the cold control, not having found any other problem, when I discovered that the plastic air deflector at the top rear of the frig had been knocked off. I replaced it and all is OK. I thought you might add this to your suggestion list. As you know, the deflector directs the freezer air toward the front of the frig and the rear of the cold control, which is now functioning properly. Luckily, I found this before rushing out to purchase the control.

Take care.

Zanussi ZFC 45/30 SS is hot at front between the doors..

This is normal. This is a defroster to keep moisture from condensation from freezing the doors shut.

Things freezes up in the refrigerator section of the home frige

If fridge is freezing, check the door seal on the freezer part. Make sure it is completely sealed, The freezer can leak air, allowing motor to pump freon continuously to fridge.
If the seal looks ok, try turning down fridge temp. If you have done this already, than I would look into having thermostat or thermometer sensor replaced.

Freezer not freezing solid. Pulled off back

Your not going into defrost, the fridge cycles into defrost every 8-10hrs for approx 20mins....problem could be multile items, the defrost time, defrost thermostat, or the defrost heater, will need a meter to ohm heater and thermostat...thermostat will be a closed circuit when it gets below 22degrees. ohm the heater out...if both check ok, will be a timer issue. Can do a simpler check....in the fridge section near controls there is a smal hole with a gear on the inside....that is your defrost timer. take a falt tip screwdriver and turn that gear until it clicks, this will put the fridge into defrost...if everything on the heater side is ok you will hear a sizzle from the ice melting
