Go to your Control Panel, & select Keyboard. Right-click this, then click properties. Then set your keyboard to suit your country. If this doesn't solve the problem, take the keyboard back to the shop, and ask for a replacement. While you are there , ask them how to apply for the cash-back deal, because only they will know. Hope this helps

Under windows, that's perhaps ('cos I use french & belgian ones usually) simply keyboard country disposition.
start -> Controlpanel -> Regional & Language Options
then Languages tab -> Details

There for each country you can add differents keyboards dispositions

One of the variant of your country's keyboard layout must be the right one

2 things how do you disable clerk sign on and how do you program a cash/amount tender key it wont give the amount of change

You can't normally turn off the clerk system as it would facilitate terrible fraud. You are just supposed to sign on and start using it.
All cash registers should be able to calculate change. Press SUBTOTAL once you have entered the items. Now type the amount received from the customer (no decimal point). now press Cash (or other payment key) and the change should be displayed.

I have a Casio CE-6100 cash register. Whenever I try to finalise a transaction with the "Cash" button i get a long beep and nothing happens. If i use the cheque or credit card buttons instead...

You may have changed the key feature settings for CASH accidentally. Try this:
Turn key to program mode 0 CASH SUBTOTAL 3 SUBTOTAL 0 CASH SUBTOTAL
Turn key back to REG mode and try it - you may have to sign a clerk on

Oh dear. Why are you wiping the IPL? You are seriously screwing up the firmware in the machine. It might be best to see a dealer to have them change IPLs for you

We have a cash register CASIO CE4000, when we tried to change the VAT to 20% its repeatedly giving error 1 & 2. we keyed 20 and then pushed the VAT button after positioning the key to the program...

It sounds like you didn't finish programming before you turned the key. Try turning back to program and press SUBTOTAL, then back to REG.

Hi have a PCR-T465 the ca/amt tend butten is not

Make sure you press SUBTOTAL after you enter all of your items, then type the amount the customer gives you (no decimal point) e.g $20.00 would be 2000, then press CASH. The change should now be displayed. If you don't do it this way, no cash registers will show change. If you are using this method and it still won't work then you might have programmed the CASH button incorrectly. Just let me know.
