I own a Hyundai Sonata 2012 which has a USB port that worked perfectly for listening to music on my iPhone. ... and it SUCKS. i want to be able to charge my phone via USB while I listen to music. .... I even bought an ALPINE stereo head unit and tried that, as they supposedly work with NOKIA phones, but.
Select free channel or frequency on your radio and align it with the one on fm modulator depending on the type of radio used. Make sure the modulator has the power on. Does the cigarette lighter work, if not check it. make sure the radio receiver/ transmitter component or antenna connected as this need frequency to produce sound like a radio.
1. On the Philips music system, press FM repeatedly until [BT] (Bluetooth) is displayed on the display panel. The Bluetooth indicator flashes blue.
2. On your phone, go to Settings and turn on Bluetooth. Press Scan. Your phone will start searching for nearby Bluetooth-enabled devices.
3. Select 'PHILIPS_BTM2180' on your phone and, if necessary,
enter '0000' (no quotes, all zeros) as the pairing password/key.
After successful pairing and connection with the phone, the Bluetooth indicator on the Philips system will turn solid blue and you will hear two beeps coming from it.
4. Start playing music on your phone and enjoy hearing it from the speakers on your music system !.
You don't have to play stereo on your phones, once you plug your ear/head phone just go ahead and play your music, there's nothing like mono / stereo. It is only radio that has that kind of options. But if your head phone is not working properly, you can change it.
i had the same problem, my k700i has since broken. When you make a call, if its the same as mine, you can't hear the other person right >
I simply restarted my phone over and over by taking out the battery putting it back in and starting. I did this until i could hear music from the Media Player, From hear it should be in the normal mode, when you insert your head phones it should go to the handsfree profile. If it doesn't go to your settings and search for new devices. i do hope this helps
other than just double checking your switches settings there really isn't much you can do ,as there really isn't any easy to replace parts inside and that would be cost prohibitive anyhow , but do remember it is a clock radio , if its set t o use the alarm the radio will not work and not the cd either , ck all your switches for proper setting , one may have got bumped by you or cleaning staff
this is the reason I use a sound bar/phone dock as I use it to charge my phone and play music all day at my desk , they only cost about fifteen bucks to buy , and best thing is there's nothing for anyone to mess with when im not there as it wont work without my phone docked in it !!
