There is a company in Canada that has the conversion rails and other parts you are asking about. They do deliver to the US. There name is The Kiddies Store. The Ellis collection is called the Sydney.

The company is called Elfe Graco. There telephone number is 1-800-667-8184. They are located in Quebec.

Tell them what crib you have and what colour you are looking for. They will ask you for the model number and the manufacturing date which is located on the crib mattress support (In the middle of the instructions).

I have ordered mine today and they have all colours in stock!

I also had the same problem of finding the conversion kit for 5000 series crib in chocolate. I have been trying everywhere and finally I came across this baby furniture store in San Diego. I contacted them, drove up to San Diego from Orange County and got my conversion kit last weekend. You guys might want to give it a try. i think i have a solution to your problem. I too have been looking for simplicity bed rails but in honey to convert to a full. I found sears.ca and they carry the rails in every color but there version of the ellis crib is called the sydney 4 in 1. It is the same exact crib so I am purchasing the rails myself. If they do not end up fitting then just send them back. Sometimes canada have the same things as us but they are named different I know I live 15 min away from the canadian border. Hope this helps.
